Year in Review

As we come to the end of the year, we wanted to take some time to reflect on all the ways that God has blessed us during 2021. Guide Financial Planning is growing and helping more people experience freedom in their finances and flourish in the way that they view and use money. Our team is growing, providing more jobs where our team members have the opportunity to integrate their faith with a career that allows them to keep their families a priority. Great things are happening and all of it is possible because of you. Thank you for trusting us and partnering with us in your stewardship journey. You truly are a pleasure to work with.

Team Highlights

Ben Ben and his family moved to a new home in Arden Hills in January. They are really enjoying it and even hosted the entire Guide Financial Planning team in August for dinner and a slip n slide for the kids. Watch Ben's Sermon: Some of the highlights of 2021 for https://hopeccresources. Ben include a Boundary Waters com/messages/jesus-iscanoe trip with two good friends and the-greatest-giver/ a trip to the North Shore with family. He even made it over to Lambeau Field to watch the Packers beat the Bears, a family tradition. He ended the year sharing with his church how when we understand God's generosity to us, it transforms the way that we give, save, and spend the money that he has entrusted to us.

Cal Cal started the year off well by officially receiving his Certified Financial Planner certification in January. Things got even better for him in March when he joined the Guide Financial Planning Team. It hasn’t only been a great year for his career, but in his personal life as well. In the summer, he traveled to Alaska with his wife and her family. He got to see lots of amazing nature and wildlife and even caught a salmon! Then, in September, he got to spend a week with his family up at a cabin in northern Minnesota.

Team Highlights

Randy Randy recently retired from his full-time job as a Quality Engineer and is now continuing the pursuit of his lifelong passion of personal financial planning on a part-time basis with his encore career here at Guide Financial Planning. Randy and his wife, Char, had the opportunity to vacation in Egypt in July. The highlight of the trip was a midnight hike up Mount Sinai, where they reached the top just in time for daybreak. They were also blessed with a seventh grandchild in August.

Amy As you saw in the timeline, Amy started the year on a high note by passing the CFP exam in March after finishing her Master’s in Family Financial Planning and Counseling in December. Being done studying allowed her and her family to jump back into travel this year as things began to open up from the pandemic. One highlight of their adventures was having the opportunity to visit Minnesota for the first time as a family and spend some time with the Guide Financial Planning team in person. Amy also had the opportunity to travel to Virginia to speak at a financial wellness retreat for pastors. To wrap up the year, they’ve decided to take advantage of the fact that her kids wanted to homeschool again for the 2021-2022 school year to spend a month in El Salvador with her husband’s family over the holidays.

you

Thank

While we are grateful for everything that God has done in 2021, we are excited for the year ahead. We believe that 2022 has even greater things in store and pray that for you and your family, it will be your best year yet.

May you have an enjoyable holiday season as 2021 comes to a close. We’re so thankful to have you as a part of the Guide Financial Planning family and you are part of what makes our organization so great.

We will be reaching out in February to schedule your next review meeting once your tax return is complete. In the meantime, if you have any friends or family that would benefit from professional guidance as they navigate their financial life, we would be happy to help them.
