The twins’ great grandparents set down agricultural roots in Lodi, growing non-irrigated watermelons.

1870s

Brad and Randall Lange purchase a small vineyard from their dad, the River Ranch, where they raise their families.

1973

With success on the farm, the Lange family purchases their first vineyard, where the twins’ dad gained experience.

Brad and Randall Lange plant Lodi’s first Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard in partnership with Robert Mondavi.

The Lodi Winegrape Commission is formed with Brad Lange as Chairman of the Board.

1991

The Lodi Rules for Sustainable Winegrowing is formalized after the success of the grassroots farmer program in 1993.

2005

LangeTwins participates in the grassroots farmer education program aimed at integrated pest management, led by the Lodi Winegrape Commission.
