CHAPTER ONE

DAUGHTER Allah says: To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth ,He creates what he ( Allah) wills ,he gives whatever to whoever he wills . Indeed Allah is knowing and competent, In preIslamic period before people knew about what Allah said about daughters , they would burn or burry them alive as they thought daughters were burdens on them . In pre-Islamic period it is said that few enemies of Qays ibn Aasim-At Tameemi who was a pre-Islamic arab, attacked his premises and captured his daughter later one of his enemies married her . After some time the daughter of Qayas given a choice to choose between her father or her husband she said she was free weather she wants to go to her father or stay with her husband she choose to stay with her husband after that Qayas took pledge upon him self to burry daughter if he gets a new one after that other people start copying him they were two ways to disown daughters in pre-Islamic period

1 . Before the time of delivery they would dig a grave and if a woman gives birth to a male child she can happily go with her husband if in case the women gives birth to a female child she along with the baby girl would burry alive. 2. The other method was when the girl would reach six years old the man would take far away from the town and bush her into the well. As the darkness of the era slowly slowly vanished and Allah enjoined kindness, love and compassion towards girls,Taking good care of girls was encouraged and also given love, respect which they deserve,Islam has designed special rewards for raising them that is not given for sons , prophet Mohammed said the person who raises two daughter until they get married will be in paradise with me ,prophet Mohammed said he is who tested by giving daughter the reason they are tested because they are the responsibility and a test from almighty Allah to see how his slaves would act to the responsibility given by them . A daughter is a great bounty an honor granted by Allah Imam Al- Husain said girls are the sources of reward and blessing and sons are only blessing upon their parents. Daughters are great responsibility and greater expenditure. Generally when daughters •2•

get married people think there are done with the work and no need to look after them anymore but prophet Mohammed would always stand up and welcome her daughters when they arrive to his home . A daughter brings closer to Allah and his messenger and it is also said rejoining the birth of a daughter is greater than making seven time tawaaf around Kaaba. When a girl is born to a couple there shall be a distance of 500 years between the parents of the girl and hell . Daughters in Islam are said be a great blessing.

CHAPTER TWO

MENSTRUATION Menstruation is the natural flow of blood in a women which is also know as PERIOD5 or HAYD . Hayd is a periodic flow of blood from women’s womb ,while istihaadah is a flow of blood from the womb outside of the period due illness . The earliest age for menes ( periods) is nine years. Any flow of blood from the vagina before that age is istihaadah . There is no last age for mense . It may last as little as twenty-four hours if it last less than it’s considered Istihaadah .It may last up to fifteen days. 7-9 days are long mens last for majority of women’s . The women will be pure for 23 to 24 days or until she gets her next month mens. A women can not fast , pray or enter a mosque during her periods because Islam has strict hygience regime menstruation women are considered ritually impure for the duration of their bleeding after that they have to do a full body ceremonial wash called GHUSL. There are two ways from which a women can know that her mens are over :

CHAPTER THREE

Marriage ( NIKAH) Marriage or Nikah the very first and the relation which would continue after the death, this is the one of the most beautiful relation created by Allah prophet Mohammed (pbuh) said the best people of my nation are those who get married. The Islamic term Nikah means sexual intercourse this was because islam has understood instincts cannot and must not be repressed , The Quran indicates that the real way to gain peace and satisfaction in life through this amazing relation. Love ,care , comfort , hope and peace is not only gain by men in marriage but also women . Islam views marriage as natural course for women in the same way as it is for men and probably more . So in view of the fact that the marriage guarantees women some of economic factor is the least aspect of the whole enterprise the emphasis has been always on the religious qualities of the spouse , Fulfilling one’s sexual desire is another important aspect of marriage, marriage is not only about sexual relation but also about love ,care , respect, self satisfaction and togetherness, •6•

;prophet Mohammed was over come by such tremendous unveilings the bodily frame was not able to tolerate he would take Aisha R.A hand and say keep taking Aisha so that I can gain strength . Prophet Mohammed said women are the coolness to their men ; A woman also have legal guardian present during there marriage, If wali is not present a woman must be puberty . They are no requirement regarding who can propose marriage “one historical event in the prophet Mohammed life reflecting this principle is the proposal of Khadijah bin khuwaylid the first wife of the prophet. Prophet Mohammed was employ of Khadijah while working with him she got to knew to his honesty and integrity and she gave a marriage proposal to prophet Mohammed’s. The marriage of prophet Mohammed and Khatija had broken many stereotypes Khadijah was 25 years older than prophet Mohammed and in a much better financial position at the time of the prophet and they got married, their marriage is known for love and compassion they had for one another . This proposal illustrates the ability of Muslim men and women to marry to whomever they choose and highlighting the fact that marriage arranged without the consent or involvement of muslim women completely contrary to the tradition .
