Preface

Sri Sathya Sai Baba (1926-2011) has been the second Sai Avatar (incarnation) in the Sai Trinity. Sri Shirdi Sai Baba (1838-1918) had preceded him and Sri Prema Sai Baba, it is widely believed by devotes, will be coming soon in very near future in this 21 first century itself to finish the uncompleted divine role of the three Sai incarnations. The uniqueness of Sri Sathya Sai Baba – the thrilling rainbow of his spiritual teachings, countless astounding miracles, multi-faceted global contributions to the welfare of humanity, and universal impact as the harbinger of the Sathyayuga (Age of Truth) has been duly acknowledged by billions of people of all races, religions, cultures, nations, Hundreds of books, articles and publications have been written on him. Among the countless divine incarnations that descended our earth, Sri Sathya Sai Baba was undoubtedly the most visited, written and talked about, photographed, venerated and world-wide worshipped divine personality adored by billions of inhabitants of this planet. I have had the privilege of coming under the umbrella of his divine grace. Bêteen 1973 and 2010 I had his many darshans, received his coveted rare interviews four times, personally experienced his miraculous grace and timely help many times, and also have had fortune of writing over a dozen books on him, He gave miraculous divine help in my turbulent professional and personal life. He saved my life at least four times from serious calamities –one, from a likely fatal accident due to scooter and car collusion in 1974; two, when I suffered a serious heart attack in 1997;three, when I suffered serious paralytic attack in 2007 and,four, when I suffered pneumonia, total breathlessness and speech-lessness very recently in February 2015, He saved my wife’s life also three times. He has been miraculously sustaining my life guarding, helping and guiding me till even now when I am 80 years of age, unable to stand, walk, travel speak legibly and do any strenuous physical activity excepting being able to somehow work on my personal computer for

Prof Sathya Pal Ruhela (eighty years old), born on 2 February 1935, is a pioneering Indian sociologist of education, a teacher, an educator, a spiritualist and an ardent devotee of both the Sai Avatars- Sri Shirdi Sai Baba and Sri Sathya Sai Baba. He has been in Sai’s fold for the last forty years. He has written books on sociology, Indian sociology, Somalia, education, spirituality and both the incarnations of Sai Baba. He served as a Professor of Education (Sociology), Head and Dean of the Faculty of Education, Jamia Millia Islamia (Central University), New Delhi. He was awarded Maharshi Bhrigu Samman in 2011 for his valuable contributions during his lifetime in the fields of behavioral sciences, literature, humanity and social development.
