There will be one mark for each question. There will be no negative marking.

All questions of the Eligibility Test will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type, with four choices and out of them one choice correct.

Nature and Standard of Questions:

(i)
Questions on Child Development and Pedagogy will focus on Educational Psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the age group of 11-14 years. Emphasis will be laid on understanding the characteristics and needs of diverse learners, interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning.
(ii)
Questions on Language-1 will be based on proficiency in medium of language chosen in the Application Form.
(iii)
Language-2 will be other than Language-1. Candidates can choose any one language from Hindi, English, Sanskrit or Urdu in their Application form and solve the questions on Language chosen in the Application Form. Questions on Language-2 will be based on Elements of Language, Communication and Ability to understand.
(iv)
Questions on Mathematics, Science, Social Science and Main Language will be based on subject’s concept, problem solving and understanding of Pedagogy.
Questions in the Question Paper will be based on the prevailing syllabus/text books topics of Class 6 to 8 and Class 9 or 10 of Madhya Pradesh, but their difficulty level and relativity may be upto higher secondary level. (Syllabus of Language-1 and Language-2 will be of standard Class 6-10 and that of the main language will be of higher secondary level.)
Note: Candidates who opt language other than Hindi and English, are advised to prepare the subject from their own resources. (iii)
