Preface

Poetry is a lullaby to my soul and I always found room for my heart while writing it. Each poem in 'My musings to leaf through' depicts the emotions that I went through from frustration to bliss, from dark to light. This book reflects my overthinking in various themes that concern me directly or indirectly.

1)Street light She glows all night, Cherishing the night, Sees all hues, through her vibrant eyes. Wandering dogs, Mystic thieves, Hooting owls & Midnight Trills. Those ghost stories are Just mere jokes for her, She is entangled with Happiness all night. Isn't she lucky to see the beauty and mystery all together? and perceive the world in truth. Let's ask her those twisted questions and untangle 1

all the night mysteries, Let's ask her the thrills of people on night drives. Let's ask her the amity between the moon and stars. Well, I made a mistake, I told you that she's been happy all night. Isn't she sad during all those night chaos? all those heinous nights were given to her by humans? Well, I think we can ask her. But in my POV, She is a pretty lucky girl, the lucky girl of her nights.

2) Sailing through the beauty

When I sailed across the sea of beauty, I felt it so dramatic, and sometimes it’s traumatic. Sizes, figures and hues are all terrible, Is all of us worth being defined by these boundaries? I hope you’ll have either a scar or a pimple or a black mole or a birthmark or are you just like a plain white sheet? Have you ever got tanned or Gained or loosed a Lil weight? Is the circumference of your hip a worldly affair? Or Is someone asking you to think about it? Does that stretch marks, mark a period 4

Or is it taking a toll on you? Who told you that you are worthless? Is someone dare to say that? Just don't give a damn about it, You are the sailor in the sea of beauty.

3)Wildflowers

In a forest full of despair, I saw some wildflowers, tangled with merry and tranquillity.

From my beholder's eyes, I saw the rays of hope, Purely embracing and celebrating the wildness.

I quizzed the truth for a while and it sparked in my head after a mile, And it’s real and pertinent.

Embracing the light in the darkness and good in evil, Hyped up the sparkles all around, They did their thing.

Oh, my dear flowers! you taught me a lesson, A lesson for a lifetime, You embellished my life with merry.
