The extraction of the oil is either cold pressing or is largely done by steam distillation. The use of essential oils began in the centuries of the ancient Egyptians around 3500 BC. Since then, we've discovered even more about the amazing benefits of essential oils, especially with regard to weight loss. If you use a few simple oils in combination or on their own, you will see real and significant effects. The great thing about all essential oils is their usefulness. Many of the oils that are consumed are blended into a massage oil or can be incorporated. The possibilities are endless. Chapter 1 - Introduction to Essential Oils

Essential oil, by definition, is the oil extracted from the plant, seed, fruit or flower that has the fragrance and quality of the plant that removed it. But in reality, essential oils are so much more than that! They have been used for centuries when they were used for religious events, treatments and cosmetics dating back to ancient Egypt. Since then, the power of essential oils has developed significantly. We now know that they are extremely strong and can provide numerous health benefits, including: •

The list continues. There are literally numerous beneficial uses for which essential oils can be used with regard to the specific type of oil. I think of essential oils as nature's pharmacy offering the treatment we naturally need, as long as we know where to look. For those unfamiliar, there are a number of methods by which essential oils can be administered. They inhale with a diffuser, usually may be applied completely to the skin by massage, or may be

absorbed. Before getting used to your skin while being used in massage, the oils are usually combined with a base oil called a corporate oil because of their potency. There are many different carrier oils such as sweet almond oil, grape seed oil, olive oil, coconut oil and the list goes on. Keep in mind that vegetable shortening, butter, margarine, and petroleum jelly should not be used as carrier oils. The company oil lets you experience the effects of the oil and offers protection to your skin and body. In some cases, you can apply the oils directly to the skin without mixing them with a carrier oil, but I recommend that you consult an essential oil specialist or licensed aromatherapist first. There have been cases where pure direct contact with the skin has resulted in sensitization. Hypersensitivity is essentially related to a skin sensitivity that results in a severe rash or itching. More severe cases of sensitization can even lead to anaphylactic shock or breathing difficulties. When you become sensitive to an oil, you will likely remain vulnerable to the oil, even if you use it in a diluted form with a company oil in the future. It's best to stay on the safe side. Another way to use essential oils is to inhale the oils. There are several methods to try this, including putting two or a drop on the structure or a cotton ball and breathing. This can be a good method when you are on the go. You can also do it if you put 3-7 drops of essential oil in boiling water, which is steam inhalation. Then add with inhalation and a towel. This can be a great method to use when trying to resolve sinus problems or complications. You place several drops of the primary oil on the diffuser in addition to water and can even use a diffuser, and the diffuser can create a mist of the vapor in combination with the essential oil of apply and your choice it throughout the room. In your weight loss journey, you will find various essential oils that will give you an extra boost to reach your goals of boosting you. There are several essential oils that are excellent for increasing weight loss efforts. The great thing about essential oils is that they each have different properties and can produce different results. You can even try mixing different oils together to utilize and incorporate the different properties of the oils to obtain some of the benefits. In addition, essential oils can be combined with aromatherapy to increase your weight loss. Aromatherapy affects parts of the brain that have a positive effect on our mental, physical and mood. Inhaling aromas stimulate the hippocampus which are the facilities of human emotions and memories and the amygdala. Inhaling essential oils also stimulates brain receptors responsible for anxiety, heart rate, attention span, blood pressure and motivation. Essential oils give a fantastic extra boost to your weight loss plan. Often times, the challenge of losing weight has more to do with problems and our emotional obstacles than with physical problems. Essential oils are great in this way simply because they can help you overcome some of the emotional or psychological blocks that have prevented effective weight loss in the past. Perhaps the problem is, for example, cravings for desserts, emotional eating, fatigue from diet, insufficient motivation or a slow metabolism, there is really an important oil or blend of oils that can alleviate the problem. Essential oils can be the missing component you need to finally reach your weight loss goals. Below are the best weight loss uses and a list of their properties and essential oils: Grapefruit oil Grapefruit oil is probably the best essential oil you can use to enhance weight loss results. It suppresses appetite, increases energy, reduces cellulite, prevents bloating and melts fat. It contains nootkatone, a natural chemical compound that stimulates a particular molecule (AMPK only) that regulates the body's energy levels and metabolism. AMPK accelerates chemical

reactions in the brain, liver and skeletal muscles. Research has shown that AMPK and nootkatone communicate resulting in a decrease in body fat, reduced weight gain, increased stamina and improved physical performance. Limonene, an important hydrocarbon component in grapefruit, is also believed to produce lipolysis, a process that breaks down and dissolves body fat. How to use Drink a glass of water with one or two drops of grapefruit essential oil. Make sure to buy a high quality oil made specifically for internal use.
