A key focus of the meeting was the maintenance of continuity in the hauling and disposal of wet garbage. The contract of SB Hain, the service provider for the village's garbage hauling and disposal, expired on December 31, 2022. To ensure seamless service provision, AAVA and SB Hain entered into an interim agreement, which extends the service for two months until the conclusion of bidding procedures and the selection of a winning bidder. D6 Governor Dr. Larry de Leon chairs the Bidding Committee. SB Hain has submitted a request for an increase in the charge per trip, currently set at Php 11,000, to mitigate the effects of rising fuel prices and associated maintenance costs. As per the existing contract, the village incurs a monthly expense of Php 742,000 for wet garbage hauling and disposal services. The Board of Governors remains committed to reviewing and identifying ways to optimize AAVA's resources to effectively fund priority projects. This is in line with the association's objectives of providing efficient services and effectively allocating resources for the benefit of the community members. www.aava.com.ph 8809-AAVA (2282) [email protected] Projects for Bidding 4 Tips for Responsible Pet Ownership 2022 Fund Drive Report BAA Today Updates Get the latest announcements and news about Ayala Alabang! This move comes as schools within the village begin to implement face-to-face classes and security is requesting additional personnel to man the gates processing vehicles entering the village, specifically at the Acacia Gate. In order to accommodate 4-wheeled deliveries and TNVS, the Kalapi Gate has been opened from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. This has resulted in the need for an additional 4 security guards to man this post. However, the Kalapi Gate also poses additional security concerns as it could be an escape route for stolen cars in case of a village-wide lockdown. To address these concerns, it was recommended to close the Kalapi Gate and redirect all deliveries to the Madrigal Gate (M3). This would allow the four (4) security guards assigned to the Kalapi Gate to be reassigned to the Acacia Gate, and retain the Anahaw Post 24/7 to monitor the Kalapi Gate and the Anahaw Flood Gate.

6 AAVANEWS COMMUN VOL. 26, ISSUE 1 ITY PROPER CARE This includes providing the pet with a healthy diet, clean water, and appropriate shelter, as well as ensuring that it receives regular medical attention and preventive care. PROPER TRAINING AND SOCIALIZATION Training and socializing a pet can help it to become well-behaved and able to interact appropriately with humans and other animals. SUPERVISION AND CONTROL Pet owners should ensure that their pets are supervised and kept under control at all times, whether they are inside or outside the home. This may involve using a leash, a fence, or other measures to ensure that the pet does not wander off or cause harm to others. IDENTIFICATION It is important to ensure that pets are properly identified with tags or microchips in case they become lost or separated from their owners. This can help reunite pets with their families and prevent them from becoming strays. RESPONSIBLE 4 PET OWNERSHIP TIPS FOR Responsible pet ownership is the act of caring for and properly managing a pet in a way that is safe, humane, and considerate of others. This includes providing the pet with adequate food, water, shelter, and medical care, and taking steps to ensure that the pet is well-behaved and does not cause any harm or inconvenience to others. By following these tips and taking a responsible approach to pet ownership, we can help to ensure the safety and well-being of both our pets and our community.
