The digital designs were created in SketchUp, Twinmotion, Adobe Photoshop, the portfolio was put together in Adobe Indesign. The photography, retouching and publication editing are (also) my own work.

The concept
My objective was to create a bunker that can be sunk underground for maximum concealment. When not underground, its function would revert to that of a basic house. The building itself would be both enclosed and open. Closed when down, the air supply would be provided by a ventilation system. When above ground, the front panel would be hinged, performing the functions of a door and window.

The parameters of the building: length: 6 meters, height: 6 meters, width: 6 meters The parameters of the elevator shaft: length: 6 meters, height: 6 meters, width: 6 meters The model was created at 1:25 scale. The building would be made of reinforced steel bars and concrete. The descent into a shaft would be solved by an elevator structure.

Process of creation Materials used: For the building mock-up: styrofoam, double-sided tape, pva glue, double-sided tape, acrylic paint, and spray paint For the interior: foam board, pva glue, balsa wood, and dowel rods For the elevator shaft: foam board, pva glue, balsa wood, dowel rods, and spray paint For the surrounding landscape: cardboard, pva glue, and spray paint
