Once upon a time, Mamad, a wise man, walked the earth.

He never said a lie. He was known by everyone in the land, even those who

lived twenty days away.

He looked at the wise man and asked: "Mamad, is it true, that you have never lied?" "It's true."

The king heard about Mamad and ordered his subjects to bring him to the

"Okay, tell the truth, but be careful! The lie is cunning and it gets on your tongue easily."

After a few days, the king summoned Mamad once more. The king was about to go hunting, therefore there was a large throng. The king clung to the mane of his horse, his left foot already in the stirrup.

He ordered Mamad: "Tell the queen I'll be with her for lunch at my summer palace. Tell her to make a large meal. Then we'll have lunch together."

Mamad bowed and approached the queen. The king then smiled and added, "We're not going hunting, and Mamad is going to tell the queen a lie."

On his behalf, we'll laugh tomorrow."

"I'm not sure if he put his left

foot on the ground or his right foot on the stirrup after I left."

But the wise Mamad went to the palace and said: "Perhaps you should make a large lunch for tomorrow, or perhaps you should not. Perhaps the king will arrive before midday, and perhaps he will not.“

"Tell me will he come, or won't he?" - asked the queen.

Honesty- How it Benefits You and Others

Honesty will take you places in life you could never have imagined, and it's the simplest thing you can do to be happy, successful, and content.

My basic ideals and principles are built on the foundation of honesty. Honesty pierces through deception and falsehoods like a knife through butter. Honesty is the key to a happy, free existence.
