Short description of project (5 pts) What will your project be about? Our project is about an online magazine for the contemporary world. To ride in with the digital trend and to also solve the “issue” on the hindrances during online classes. We wanted to practice being optimistic. Our group Cosmix visions how we freshmen of Laboratory Technology are ready to be part of the world. Through this project we can help spread how our generation of freshmen in the new normal view the world and take advantage of what we have. Why do you want to do this project? Concurrent with the media trend, many people are not fond of reading and has a very little free time. As much as we want to have readers, we wanted to have a new contribution to the advancement of technology. We wanted to tell everyone that print is not dead, and literature is still there. We also wanted the online readers to be recognized. With our interactive online magazine, they can feel that they still have an advantage over the physical print readers. How will you work on the project, as a group, during the semester? With even distribution of the roles of each member and proper planning. One will comply and summarize each topic and one will collect our comments. We shall follow our roles and deadline to have a proper outcome at the end of the semester. Significance & purpose (10pts) This project will help not only us but also the next batch. This virtual interactive magazine shall be a guide and also an album for our moments during the online classes under the Contemporary world course. We think of this as an achievement if done properly because this will be the fruit of optimism of freshmen under the new normal of learning in the tertiary education. As under the premier state university of technology, I think our main purpose is to give meaning on our name. Our team, Cosmix, shall never forget that technology can be always use to improve and adopt to the new world. How is this project related to the Contemporary World? As I have previously said, this current experience that we are under is a major part of the Contemporary world. From our main goal, to our content, everything is related to it. We have decided to use everything that we can with an optimistic mind to join the rapid change of the world.

What aspect of the Contemporary World will this project tackle? Everything under the current topic will be in the content of our magazine while still giving our comments and insight on the subjects. How can this project help us understand Globalization better? Globalization is a rapid change, developing a virtual interactive magazine is something to join this rapid change under the pandemic. Our magazine is guaranteed to include informative texts and elements such as pictures and other visuals to improve understanding in globalization with first-hand experience of its product. Who will benefit from this kind of project? Why should we care about this? First, those who will benefit are the learners on the Contemporary world. Also, the campus, and those who wanted to learn with fun. This kind of project is something to pay attention to. Here, talents are being showcased, knowledge is being shared, and showing that learning can be done anytime under any conditions.
