FUEL CONTROL RICH/LEAN CHECK CAUTION:
DO NOT EXCEED TORQUE OR TIT LIMITS.
A. Throttle at F.I., T.D switch to "NULL". B. Advance Throttle to Takeoff, 19,600 in/lbs torque or 1071˚C TIT.
TIT (1001˚C minimum).
C. Accomplish this step only if 1071˚C TIT is obtained prior to max. throttles. Place TD Switch to "AUTO", TIT (971°C minimum). Page 11 of 15.

Retard Throttle to point where RPM just begins to drop. ( * minimum 4000 in/lbs above step 1).

Retard Throttle to 100% RPM, release Fuel Governing Check Switch, place T.D. switch to "AUTO" and advance Throttle until Torque increases with RPM constant. Retard Throttle to the point where 1% RPM drop is noted. ( * Torque, same as step 1) Pitchlock Released.
