Mr Jayesh Chaudhary

Director, Nakoda Group of Industries Ltd REVAMPING THE NATIONAL FRUIT PROCESSING INDUSTRY

In an exclusive interview with MrJayesh Chaudhary, Director, Nakoda Group of Industries Ltd, Tycoon Global Magazines cites an interview article that highlights the lineage of the food-based company Nakoda Group and its journey from being a small-scale cottage industry in 1989 to landing on the main board of Both the Stock Exchanges in 2021. To know more about the success story and immerse into a tale of exceptional knowledge, right marketing tactics, and establishment of a brand, read the entire article.

1) Tell us about the journey of Nakoda Group of Industries right from its inception stage. Nakoda Group started in 1989 as Nakoda Food Industries, the venture founded by my dad. Initially, today’s Nakoda brand was 1980’s small scale cottage industry. In 1989 raw green papaya was wasted due to no known usage, so my father thought of making Tutti-Frutti from it on a very small scale. We come from a small village, Seloo, approximately 60 km from Nagpur. There’s a school donated by my Great grandfather before independence which is today providing education to around 3000 students and it is completely run by the government Grant Under our noncommercial Management. My grandfather was against initiating an enterprise so my father came to Nagpur in 1989 and the Nakoda group was incepted. In 1995 the industry was expanded, in 2002, the name was changed to Navkar processors, in 2013 Nakoda group of industries Pvt. Ltd., in 2018 we converted into Public Limited and Listed On BSE SME Platform and in 2021 we landed on the main board of Both Bombay Stock Exchange & National Stock Exchange. This was the whole journey to be mentioned in years as milestones but each year there were many significant contributions made, several lessons learned and multiple techniques adopted all while retaining the faith of our clients and customers.

2) What are the main products that Nakoda Group of Industries is dealing in? Nakoda Group business model is two dimensional in nature:(a) One is Institutional sales where we serve Candied Fruits and other Dry Fruits to various giant FMCG companies in India to use our product as ingredients for making delicious fruit cakes and fruit ice-creams. (b) Secondly, we also cater to the Retail Business model, where we serve our products to retail customers of India with a wide range of healthy snacks like Roasted& flavored Makhanas, Almonds, Cashew Nuts, Pistachios and other Edible Nuts in Retail Packs. And we do not stop here!!! We also export our products to More than 25 countries including the US, Latin America, European Countries, the Middle East as well as Asian countries with an ever-increasing number of buyers in the International markets. Our Short aim is to reach 1 lakh retail grocery stores in the domestic Indian Market including small/midsize and Modern Trade Stores and to serve at least 1 million customers monthly with the retail affordable packs of our products by the end of the financial year 2023 and further to serve up to 5 million customers by the financial year 2024 and the journey of serving retails customers will continue in coming years. Further, we are trying to increase our retail customer base by placing our retail products in Retail Chains of Modern Trade in the International Market which will strengthen our Retail Customer base in overseas markets too. In this ever-growing wave of eating healthy & Tasty Products, reaching every home is our Vision!!! 3) What are the major challenges faced by you, and what’s the coping up strategy for that?

When we are directing a company in such a position we have to tackle all sorts of challenges which mainly are due to three reasons– government, competition, and internal challenges. Talking about the government, luckily the administration has been supportive, so we have not faced such challenges but when it comes to Internal challenges, the major challenge is to check the quality, and processing, and keep it consistent with the taste and demands of the consumer and standards of the product. Speaking of the competition is tough, but I believe as competition increases, awareness advances and market reach also expands which in turn serves as advantageous if your product can entice and retain customers. 4) What is the major marketing strategy that you follow? This is the age of social media. With advancements in technologies, our target customers are majorly present on the social media platforms that steered us to launch our products on all major online platforms Like Amazon, Paytm, Flipkart and also in other E-commerce Marketplaces. We are promoting our products through influencers, social media advertisements, etc. We are not in print media still. As our major audience is on social media, we have a major focus on this segment. 5) Is there any upcoming product that your company will be launching soon? In countries like Europe and US, a mix of dehydrated fruits such as Dehydrated papaya, kiwi Cubes, Dehydrated Mango, and other dried fruit are well mixed in a retail pack and sold. It is a meal that is healthy with no preservatives and is natural. So in the upcoming two years, we are about to launch this product in Retail Affordable packs, that would be delicious, healthy, and easy to deal with. 6) Do you have any plans of diversifying the chain? I see a huge gap in fruit processing so we are not looking to diversify. We are looking to establish an industry. We are also looking to process oranges. We are already processing orange peels and orange pulp but soon we’ll be coming with orange concentrates. This would be great for exports and the government is supporting us a lot. We are planning to do a line extension. We have 200 people working in our factory right now and are doing forward integration and backward integration. There is a gap and we have control in the market, we want our brand to be known by our customers. In the fruit processing industry, we need to look after the timing, as with fruits time is a very important factor in maturity, harvesting, storage, and processing. It requires experience in procurement & preservation and we have that experience. Growth is tremendous, the market is huge and there is scope. So, we believe in exploring the full potential of the industry rather than diversifying. 7) How did your journey into the industry commence? I started working when I was 21. It has been 14 years, and I have seen this since childhood. In short, it can be stated that I got this in my blood from my father. I have never thought of anything other than this because this was where I was raised. In these years, I have gained ample experience to deal in this line of industry and to amplify it ahead.

Anees Bazmee A passionate film director, writer and producer, he has myriad experiences in the Bollywood industry. With an experience of over 60 movies, his new project Bhool Bhulaiyaa- 2 is all set to launch this May. Here is an exclusive interview with Tycoon Global Magazine.

@aneesbazmee

1. A multi-talented man, a writer, director and a producer as well. Is there a hidden actor as well? Okay, at the moment I have undoubtedly shifted from acting in movies. Actually, since the beginning, I had this perception that my interest was more inclined toward writing and directing. Nonetheless, I do help the actors with acting during shooting. I am often acclaimed to be a good actor, but I don’t consider myself to be a good actor. I am a better writer and director. 2. You have given Bollywood industry more than 60 films, what is your most enjoyable part of a project, writing it, producing it, or directing it? The most enjoyable thing for me is directing because here you work with different people. You travel to multiple destinations and shoot scenes there. On the other hand, writing is a tedious job. Even after writing 60 films, I still consider it to be a difficult job. It requires isolation. You work alone in a room with a blank piece of paper, and this is scarier than Manjulika; cause you are not aware of what to write, and where to begin with. Writer’s block again is very painful to deal with. You are engrossed in it day and night. Directing is comparatively easier, because you have things written out for you, and you are aware of the things that need to be done. Your creativity is observed, through the way you present it, with new ideas. Everyone is aware of the things and the layout, the songwriter knows the theme, the actor knows the script, it’s only the writer who isn’t aware. It’s their job to bring out a new perspective and idea, which indeed is a tough thing. As the year progress, I want to be happier, and more playful, to enjoy more and live among the people. I also believe I have good management skills, be it production or acting. And I enjoy seeking these elements in my work life. 3. Tell us about your favourite project and the story behind it, being your favourite. Every movie, that I start is my favourite during that period. I am always excited for them. I have faith in myself, and the passion I have for directing and writing the movies. ‘Pyar Toh Hona Hi Tha’ was my second film, I was sure it would be a hit. While making ‘Deewangi’, a thriller movie, I had the same spirits and ambition. It was my favourite during that time. Later, ‘No Entry’, ‘Welcome’, ‘Singh is King’, whatever movies I had been doing, was my favourite throughout. Right now, my favourite project is bhool bhulaiyaa 2, cause I got to experience a new genre of horror-comedy. 4. You are actively contributing to the industry since 1978, what gives you the motivation to keep working? Boss, I am always excited about movies. I live movies, breathe movies and am deeply engrossed in them. I have no hobbies besides it. Either I would be talking about the movies, watching them, or reading about them. I religiously follow each and everything new that comes up for movies. If it were my last day, I would still prefer doing the same, because this brings me the satisfaction of being. I have done multiple movies, yet am never bored of this, I am very happy during shootings and have the same spirits as I did when I began my career. If I were not in this field of career, say if I weren’t a director, I would have been a producer. If not a producer, I would have been a music director. If not for this, I would have been a music director. And if still not this, I would have been a spot boy, I would have been anything and everything in this field of career. This is the industry, that brings happiness to the lives of people and is a big source of joy and entertainment. I want that when people do watch these movies and spend their time here, it should be

a memorable experience for them all. 5. Your father used to be an Urdu poet, did his work inspire you to be a writer? I believe my father had a major impact on me being a writer. I do remember my childhood days, when he used to sing me ghazals and nazms and ask me to join in, and write. Also, during the poetry meetups, I used to help with host duties and spent a lot of time with these great poets. Later, by my teen years, I had completed reading the books of Galib and his peers. I am grateful to my father for his leadership in helping me with good command of Urdu. 6. You actually started working at the age of 12, as a child artist in the industry, how relevant do you see that experience in shaping your career? I started my career at a very young age. It was mainly to earn a living out of it. I had to work multiple jobs and tried my hand at everything. I had worked in writing, editing, sound recording, art department, and ghostwriting. At a point in time, I used to

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 | Kartik A, Kiara A, Tabu | Anees B, Bhushan K, Murad K, Anjum K, Pritam

think to myself, what am I doing? Where am I heading? But, eventually, things sorted out. I actually got to know, what I didn’t want to do, which was acting, editing, and art direction. Since joining, Raj Sahab, I was sure of myself, being a director. When I look back, I feel God has helped me gain experience in a myriad of fields of the industry to get the basics of it all, which eventually added to the job of a director. It is like you can only connect the dots backwards, in the end, nothing you learn is ever wasted. 7. Tell us more about your recent project, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2”? Should we expect Akshay Kumar in the movie? The script did not allow us to take in celebrity actors, though their presence would have been a great asset to our movie. This movie specifically required fresh faces and a new outlook. We have always been careful to carry the legacy of Bhool Bhulaiyaa. We cannot control the comparisons that would be made, however, we have tried our best to inculcate a new genre and fresh concept in the movie. The songs that have been released have been a success and we wish the same for the new movie. 8. How are the energy and working experience with Ki & Ka? Both Ki and Ka, are fantastic, focused, dedicated and hardworking people. I’ve seen Kiara grow and evolve as a person, at a rapid pace like none other. About Kartik, I have always appreciated him for his work, and have grown our bond through this movie. I am grateful and equally enjoyed the experience of shooting with these versatile actors.

ERAM FARIDI

Producer, Actor

@faridieramproducer

She has received numerous honours for her work and dedication in bringing social issues to light through her films. In an exclusive conversation with Tycoon Global Magazine, Eram Faridi discusses her experience and next initiatives.

1. You have achieved some extraordinary milestones; how did your journey as a producer begin? I have a personality that knows how to fight her problems. From a young age, I’ve learnt a lot of lessons and been through betrayals, rough patches and much more, but I always got through my way. Hailing from Kanpur, it was not easy for me to settle up here in Mumbai and become a producer/Actor, but I had to fight to reach my goals and become a wellknown producer. 2. When did you first think about becoming a

producer? Did you plan any alternatives? I have always wanted to start my career in Media & Entertainment. And still, remember I first came to Mumbai on 1st January 2016. I still remember this date because this was the day I started to dream about my future. Mumbai is known to be the ‘CITY OF DREAMS’, so I had that trust and belief in me that I can do this and I will do it. In the end, self-confidence is what matters the most. My main motto is, to never give up come what may. I love to learn about different things from people of different ages.

I have done acting, but I feel that making movies and becoming a producer was always in my interest. Starting a production house, and being a producer brings a lot of respect to my career. Mr Faizali Wagle recommended I start my own production house, and during that period of 2016, there wasn’t much demand for producers. People were not much aware of it but know in today’s time this is a vast spreading industry. Many young, motivated ladies have entered this field which is a great and tough competition for me, which again makes me believe that my decision was absolutely right. I also have an alternative, though Erams Entertainment is like my baby, I also own another firm known as Rabiya International Pvt Ltd, where we work for GCC and provide business solutions. I have also worked for many other companies because you never know what the future has for you, so I am prepared for everything. 3. As a receiver of the “Shakti Ratna Puraskar”, what are you doing to improve the situation of women in society? It was a proud moment to receive “Shakti Ratna Puraskar”. I was awarded for Social Activist and good deeds towards the

society. I have a lot of thoughts and ideas in my mind about this situation, and have always believed in fulfilling my duties no matter what; I will never back off. I have taken many initiatives for the society like ‘I Sign Signature Initiative Program’, ‘Women Health and Safety Initiative Program’, ‘Acid Victim Survival Initiative Program’, ‘Mental Health Awareness Initiative Program’, ‘Old Age Care Initiative Program’ and am coming up with the sixth initiative program which is related to Cyber Crime. This is my dedication to society, and I want to work more toward the betterment of society and spread awareness. 4. You are actively involved in giving back to society; when and how did it start? I have done a lot of initiatives before and will keep doing more. As told previously, my sixth initiative is about Cyber Crime. I have always believed in creativity and doing good for a better tomorrow. I am known as a social activist, and it brings me inner peace and happiness when my work brings a smile to others’ faces. I support equality, am a firm believer in humanity and will always keep helping everyone.

5. You have been the winner of “Iconic Bollywood Producer”. How was your experience? What was the achievement behind that award? I was awarded by, the honourable Governor of Maharashtra Shri. Bhagat Singh Koshyari. It was 7th March 2022, the auspicious day of Women’s day, there were many other strong personalities like Swara Bhaskar, Huma Qureshi, and many more known celebrities. Around 35 women were being awarded, and I was one of them, which was an honour for me. Mid-Day had approached me for this award, and the governor also retweeted me which is a very proud moment for me. My films are the main thing I am known for; ‘Rising Star’ which is about a small girl who collects garbage and her struggle story; ‘Shringar’ which is about the struggles of a lady who tries to please her husband by getting ready or the selling herself to the society due to various issues. ‘Meet Mr Chang’ is about racism, this is going to be our big comeback because this film has a topic which is very important and needs to be resolved in our society. There’s one more upcoming movie ‘Fedora’s Wrinkle’, which is a start of an old lady and the rest stays in suspense, this is also related to a social topic. The award was the biggest achievement and I will remember it my whole life. 6. We are talking to the winner of “The Global Fame Awards 2022.” You received this award by Neha Dupia for “Meet Mr Chang” so how do you feel about it? As you know I am from Kanpur, meeting such prominent personalities as Neha Dupia has always been a dream, and here I was being awarded by her. This was a prestigious moment for me and my movie. Neha Dhupia is such a strong and inspirational personality, it makes me happy to be awarded by her. On stage, she praised me and my movie, Mr Chang, a lot which itself was a motivation for me. She loved the topic and cause of our movie, which is very important in today’s generation. Our movie will soon be released on the OTT platform, and people all over the world will be able to watch this film. I want them to take along the message of Antiracism. It’s our first international film, and we are very proud of this. I would like to thank everyone who nominated us and supported us for the film. 7. On your journey to be a producer, what challenges did you face? What kept you motivated? Being an actress is a big thing, but being a producer comes along with an equal lot of struggles and responsibilities. Today, if I am a successful producer, it’s because I have a supportive and strong team. My team members Creative Producer Faizali Wagle, and Associate Producer Juned Shaiikh, he has always been with me through thick and thin in all these social initiatives I have done. Juned Shaiikh was the one standing right beside me, always motivating me, and guiding me. My Mother, Sultana Parveen and my sister Amrin Faridi have always been my backbone, without them I would not be able to reach where I am now. A Producer has multiple responsibilities like casting the film, shooting, coordinating with everyone and looking after everything. I never choose to give up, and I will continue fulfilling my duties and responsibilities. My close ones have always been my support system, be it my mother, sister, or team members; I would like to thank everyone for their motivation and support. Also, I want to say; that I don’t want to fall or stop, I want to rise high and make myself proud. And being the producer of Erams Entertainment I would like to thank Tycoon Magazine and Sanjeev Jain, who published my article in their magazine. It’s an honour for my team and me to be a part of this moment.

“Dubai is poised to become the next hotspot for global economic development.” , says Mr Sanjeev Jain

Looking at today’s times, expanding business globally is a need more than a grand ambition. Countries like Australia, Singapore, and South Korea have been catching Indian entrepreneurs’ attention a lot lately, but the fear of saturation also comes along with it. So, where should new business owners plan on venturing into for a safer and more profitable expansion? “Dubai is the next big thing for all global businesses as it is a multicultural metropolis with two-thirds of the world’s population within eight hours of flying time, allowing it to act as a crossroads for East and West, as well as the hub of the Africa-Middle East-Asian triangle. Dubai has earned the reputation of being a simple place to do business due to its quick expansion, strategic location, and welcoming business culture.”, says Mr Sanjeev Jain, the CEO of Ace Advisors India. According to him, Dubai’s GDP is expected to rise by 2.1 per cent in 2019 and more than 3.8 percent in 2020. At a time when many international economies are contracting or remaining stagnant, the UAE’s largest metropolis is on a healthy development trajectory thanks to rising corporate diversification and foreign investment. “In 2021, Dubai has high prospects to top the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business list,” he says. Looking at the recent data of Ace Advisors India shows that the top five countries to establish your business globally are New Zealand, holding first place with a score of 86.8, followed by Singapore, Hong Kong, Denmark, and South Korea respectively. “The parameters for ease of doing business in the UAE cover ten areas of the business life cycle, including starting a business, dealing with construction permits, registering property, securing credit, protecting minority investors, trading across borders, enforcing contracts, and resolving insolvency amongst others.”, Mr. Jain advises. When asked, why to establish a business in Dubai, Mr. Jain said,” The UAE ranked first in terms of obtaining electricity, third in terms of obtaining building permits, and tenth in terms of registering property, according to the study’s criteria.” He also stated that the UAE was ranked 17th in the globe, with the greatest economy in the Arab area, outperforming its Gulf neighbour states. In 13 industries ranging from manufacturing to renewable energy, the UAE has authorised 100 per cent foreign ownership. It also relaxed immigration requirements, offered incentives to small and medium-sized businesses, and enacted a new insolvency law to aid UAE residents in resolving outstanding debts. Among the advantages of doing business in Dubai is the plethora of alternatives for company structures and the benefits that come with them. Ace Advisors India published a list of recommendations outlining how organizations in Dubai benefit from various formats.: 1. A zero-tax regime, means that no personal or corporate income taxes are levied. 2. Safe and robust governance 3. A world-class financial hub 4. A well-educated pool of human capital with diversified professional expertise from all around the world. 5. No capital repatriation restrictions 6. No share capital requirements 7. No physical office requirements 8. Lower start-up costs than other onshore jurisdictions There are many different types of businesses in the UAE that you can use as a starting point for your new firm. 1. Establishment of a Free Zone Business 2. Non-Freezone/Mainland 3. Offshore business Still not convinced? TYCOON GLOBAL ACHIEVER AWARD CREATIVE

@kavyashettyofficial

Actor

Kavya Shetty

Kavya Shetty, a fitness advocate and explorer with interests in jewellery and design, is slated to become the face of the next film star ventures. In an exclusive interview with Tycoon Global Magazine, she discusses her journey and speedy advancement.

Fitness Advocate & Explorer 1. Please tell us about your days growing up. Where did you study? Your time spent later at your college, and what was your dream career in your childhood days? I was born and brought up in the city of Mangalore. My schooling and college too were in Mangalore, Victoria Girls Convent and Canara College. Later, I did my engineering in Computer science at NITTE Karkala. My college life (engineering), was more focused on studying as I was a distinction student and less into extracurricular activities. I had always wanted to do my MBA, probably from abroad and have a company life: a 9-5 job. I was placed in my college and worked in a company called Capgemini in Chennai for 2 months. 2. When and how did the journey towards being an actor happen? Was it a natural progression or was there another reason you made this conscious choice? I had been planning to take up modelling for a while, to try it post engineering. I contested in Femina Miss India 2011 while I was working in my company in Chennai post-college. I won “Miss Photogenic” in it!!! Then, I started with multiple print shoots, television commercials, and ramp shows. Eventually, there was a natural progression toward movies. 3. What are your other passions and hobbies? If not an actor, what else would you have considered being? My hobbies would be travelling, doing yoga, and reading; and my passion would be something to do with clothes, jewellery and fashion. If not an actress, I would have been an MBA graduate, probably working in an IT firm. 4. How challenging is it to carve out a niche for yourself? It is definitely challenging, with a lot of competition around in every field. This is a long journey, and you can never stop learning. 5. You’re very new to the industry. But otherwise, what have been some of the highest points of your journey so far? My first movie was released in 2014, and it has been an amazing journey so far, with a lot of highs and lows to pin down. Overall it has been fun. 6. What does family mean to you? How was the lockdown period for you, is it back to being busy now? Also, how do you spend time when you are not working? What is a typical day like for you and is every day different? Family means everything. My parents have always been supportive and I’m lucky to have them with me in Bangalore. It’s indeed a blessing. Lockdown was more of a- me time, indulging in a lot of books and movies and even when I was not working, I was mostly with friends or watching movies etc. Post-covid, I have been busy shooting for multiple projects, and every day is different when you are working, even off the set. 7. Were there any apprehensions while entering the field of cinema or was it a cakewalk?

There were a lot of apprehensions, as I come from a family of academic backgrounds. These were regarding the timings of work, the financial limits and also the people you meet at work. 8. What is your vision and dream in this field that you are in now? My vision would be to do good roles which will be remembered later on in life and to have overall creative satisfaction with the work done. 9. How different do you feel you are from the others around and what are the changes you want to bring about? All of us are similar in some way or the other, and we all have ups and downs. Each one is unique in its own way, and there should be no comparison. I wish there were more meaty roles for girls, frequently. 10. What kind of bond did you share with your parents and your extended family during your years growing up? How did the bond grow over the years? My family has always been supportive and was there for me at every step; Be it my parents, relatives or my friends from college. I consider myself lucky in that way and it’s definitely difficult without the support from family. 11. Are you a home bird or a party goer? I would consider myself a mixture of both. But lately, I am more of a home bird post-COVID. 12. How often do you take holidays with family or friends? What are your preferred holiday destinations? Do you like adventure travel or leisure travel and can you tell us about some adventure activities you have done on your travels? I used to travel once in 6 months, before covid, which was often with my friends. Out of the places I have visited so far, London and Goa would be my favourite places. Undoubtedly, leisure travel is more my kind and I enjoy snorkelling and water sports. 13. What is your dream man like? Would you prefer to date someone from the industry or from outside? I would definitely date or marry someone outside of the industry. My dream man would be definitely tall; I also believe that eyes speak the most. Besides that, being humble, honest and grounded is important. 14. Are you romantic at heart in real life? What is the most romantic thing anyone has done for you? I am not really a romantic person. Mostly, I would be practical in every sense and relationship.The most romantic thing someone did, would be travelling across the globe to wish me. 15. Any crazy fan message or incident you’d like to share? I have received a lot of messages on social media but,

fortunately, no such incidents. All are memorable, and I’m glad for the love I get from them. 16. Any memorable incidents you’d like to share with us during the shoot of your films? Any Interesting roles and how did you prepare for them? There are a lot of interesting incidents, scary ones too on set. My most difficult role, which I’m yet to play in an upcoming movie (yet to shoot) is where I’m a killer. I am still preparing for it !! 17. What is your fitness routine like? Mostly, I do yoga and weight training on a longer run. I try to avoid dairy, dairy products and sugar. Also, diet is more important than a workout for me. 18. What’s your style mantra? And what is your beauty regime? Anything that makes me feel the most comfortable is what I follow in styling. When you are comfortable, it shows in your confidence level. Nazia Shaikh

An excerpt from Tycoon Global Magazine’s exclusive conversation with versatile actress and producer Nazia Shaikh.

L

ife is unpredictable. Never in my wildest dreams had I thought of settling abroad. Being from Mumbai (Tinsel Town), I have seen myself to be an actor. Though I never got any formal training for acting, I have done some theatre and modelling. My passion for acting got recognised when during my first feature film. My first break came through unexpectedly, in the form of a Big Bollywood Film. I was called for the audition and selected for a role of a mutant in one of the biggest Blockbuster of Bollywood called KRRISH 3. It was informed to me that they had been looking for an actor lately and could not find the right person for quite some time. Furthermore, they were planning to remove the character from the film. My audition went mind-blowing. I got the opportunity to work with Ace director RAKESH ROSHAN and Heart-throb of India HRITHIK ROSHAN. It was a dream come true, to work with Hrithik Roshan, a humble, disciplined and focused gentleman. Consequently, I was offered the role of Cat Woman in this movie and the rest is history. I arrived in Sydney, Australia in 2014, which was my first trip abroad. With the gorgeous blue harbour waters, the vibrant culture and iconic landmarks, the art galleries and food and dining precincts, I found Sydney quite mesmerising. One day after seeing a poster in a gym, I decided to participate in a Fitness Competition. I hired a personal trainer and started training for INBA (International Natural Bodybuilding Association). The trainer told me that it would take time for me to win the competition. If I secure a place among the first five, I should feel satisfied. To both, my trainer’s and my surprise, I eventually won the Gold medal in the First-timer Bikini Competition. Next, I also won three other medals in three other divisions. My desperate urge to be connected to the movies made me produce two short films called UNSHACKLED and DARKSIDE. Both the films have been selected for various film festivals all over Europe. Currently, I am busy doing pre-production for my next film which will be completed by the end of the year.

Simran Kaur

Actor, Voice-over Artist

@simaranhk

Simaran Kaur is a passionate artist who began her career as a voice-over artist and has progressed to become an equally great actress. This is how the interview with Simaran Kaur for Tycoon Global Magazine went.

You made your debut in the industry with the serial “Agniphera”, How was your experience with your first project in the industry? Agniphera was absolutely a special and memorable experience. I got to act as the lead actress and play two avatars in the same serial. Both characters of lawyer Shristi and Dr Sakshi received so much love from the audience. I learned so much from the whole team. I thank God for that wonderful opportunity as my first break. Coming from a law background, what drove your interest in the industry? How did your family react to your shift in career? I have a degree in Sociology honours from Delhi University but had always wanted to be an artist and to act in front of the camera. That is why I shifted to Mumbai from Delhi as soon as I could. My family has always been very supportive, and they provide me with the strength to chase my dreams. You are one of the most famous voice-over artists; tell us about your journey from an actress to a voice-over artist. My journey from voice over artist to an Actress has been great. I started my career at the age of 10 years as a voice-over artist. I went for an audition at the All India Radio and got selected. Then got the opportunity to give voice to Nobita in the Doraemon cartoon. Since then, I knew I wanted to be an artist. Then played multiple lead roles in shows like Agnifera, Aghori, Aggar Tum Na Hote. The journey has been amazing so far, and I wish and pray that it will be wonderful in the future as well. When and how did people start acknowledging your work as a voice-over artist? Before Agniphera, I had been the official voice of Nobita, from the popular TV cartoon series Doraemon, for more than TEN years. Ever since I started my youtube channel, people started recognising me. I have the most loveable fan base, and they religiously follow me on the different social media platforms. What do you love to do the most, acting or voice-over? Well, I truly love acting in front of the camera but being the voice of Nobita will always be very close to my heart. How did your career as a voice-over artist start? Were you approached by the team, or did you voluntarily give the audition? I was approached for the audition by the voiceover team of Doraemon. I went there and gave an audition; I still remember there were so many kids for the role of nobita. But thanks to God, I got the part. What do you do when you feel low? How often do you spend your time doing what you love? I love dancing and workout. So whenever I feel low, I go to a dance studio and spend some time there and if it is possible, I try to find time for a workout. What is your definition of success? Do you believe you are successful? Where do you want to see yourself in the upcoming years? Success means to be truly loved and appreciated by the audience for my acting. Every day I work hard to improve so that I can impress and connect with my audience. I think I have a long way to go. I truly believe that if I keep on working hard, god will allow me to show my skills on the biggest platforms and the largest canvas. Next, I want to do web series and movies. I want to see myself to be recognised as one of the best actresses by both Indian and global audiences.

Anticipating

Patterns 2022

2020 travel didn’t go as anticipated. In 2021, we didn’t actually try looking into our gem ball. As going out begins to open back up in 2022, we are giving you choices to add to your travel list this year.

Bali, Indonesia

Bali is an incredible spot to re-energize, unwind, and furthermore get dynamic. You will likely hit the seashores first, then, at that point, make a trip north to a portion of the less touristy pieces of the island. Maybe climb up to Mount Batur, and obviously cycle through the inconceivably quieting and straight rice paddies in Ubud. Bali is practice for the body and brain.

Italy

Jordan

For a top to the bottom Italian experience, endure fourteen days visiting Naples, Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast, Rome, Umbria, Tuscany, Cinque Terre, Florence, and Venice on Tauck’s Classic Italy visit. On the off chance that you don’t have two entire weeks to spend in Italy, attempt A Week in Venice, Florence and Rome, a more limited visit that investigates three famous Italian urban areas. The two visits highlight restrictive encounters, including a night-time directed visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel sans swarms.

The visit through Jordan starts in one of the world’s most established and constantly occupied urban communities, the capital city of Amman, and finishes at the Dead Sea, perhaps the least right on the money Earth. Features include investigating Petra’s UNESCO World Heritage Site (one of the New 7 Wonders of the World), tasting tea in a simple Bedouin tent, and driving across Wadi Rum’s fantastic desert scene.

Kenya

A country in East Africa linking the Indian Ocean in the southeast. Kenya is very wealthy in untamed life. The association with nature is dreamlike, and you’ll leave feeling recharged and invigorated.

Spain and Portugal

Two of Europe’s rising stars. We actually propose the Northern Spain, The Rioja Valley, and Madrid visit. Remember to investigate Montserrat, Cardona, Pamplona, San Sebastian, Bilbao, Leon, Santiago de Compostela, and more prior to closing in Madrid.

The Unstoppable Influencer Ruling Hearts

Riya Kishanchandani Indian Actress and Model

Riya Kishanchandani

Born and brought up in the film city of India, Mumbai, Riya Kishanchandani is an Indian actress and model. She made headlines after being featured on the dating show MTV Splitsvilla. Riya was born in a middle-class family in the city of dreams but she toiled hard and gained popularity as an outcome of her undaunted efforts. She is also featured in many video songs like Is Qadar Pyar Hai, Waari Jawan, etc. To know more about this startling 23-year-old actress who started her journey as a tiktok artist and is now winning the hearts of the Millenials, read the entire article.

1) Tell us something about your journey from starting as a tikto artist to being a social media influencer. I never actually thought that I would be into social media. Because I am a very private kind of person and I don’t have many friends, I don’t like to party. This thing was not in my mind, it just happened very randomly when one of my friends just asked me to post a video and it went viral. It got millions of views and likes. At the very initial stage, people started liking my videos and I got a very good response in a relatively short period. So this was when my journey as a social media influencer started. 2) What is the best part about your work that you love the most? I get to travel, I get to meet celebrities and new people every day which enhances my experience, knowledge, and perception of varied things. This is what I love about my job the most. 3) How do you take care of your body and skin? What is the secret regime that you follow for beautiful and radiant skin? There is something that I have followed since I was a teenager. Some home remedies by my mom and my grandmother i.e.,

Multani mitti and Chandan powder face pack, and I drink gallons of water. I have been doing this since my teens and I do not use any chemicals on my face. I do go to a saloon but when it comes to my skin I try to keep it natural as much as possible. 4) Which project has been your favorite till now and why? I have done some music videos and whatever work I have done to date is my favorite. Adding to it, recently I have shot a music video with Badshah and it is yet to be released. I am eagerly waiting for it. It is special because I got to meet Badshah. He is an excellent rapper 5) Share the most interesting anecdotes from your journey of MTV splits villa. It was the third episode where I was supposed to hit guys with some color balls and paint them and during that episode I was facing immense premenstrual mood swings. Usually, during my mood swings, I have anger issues hence I hit them all so badly that Everyone was asking me to slow down and I was so aggressive that I couldn’t even tell them the reason for me hitting them that bad.

6) Who is your favorite co-actor you have worked with till now and why? The loveliest co-actor that I’ve worked with is Shagun Pandey. I have done a video shoot with him. He has been very nice and coordinating during the shoot. Also, the song was very lovely. People still love the song and they still remember the song. He is my favorite. 7) What do you prefer to do in your free time? I like doing skincare in my leisure. I make different skin packs, I enjoy doing that. I listen to music a lot, It boosts my mood. 8) Would you like to share something about your upcoming project(s)? I have auditioned for a few roles but I didn’t like any of the specific roles that have been offered to me yet. Few shows are lined up and will be appearing on screen in the next 1-2 months. 9) What is your message for the young actress looking forward to working in showbiz? My advice to young people with non-supportive family backgrounds is that one should never forget where there is a will there is a way, you should be strong-headed and must have strong willpower despite the obstacles along the way. It is very important to understand that an actor gets rejected more than getting acceptance in the industry, so for that, you need to believe in yourself. People will believe in you only when you believe in yourself. 10) Do you think it is essential to go to an acting institute to become a successful actor, Did you take up any training in acting? Whatsoever profession you pursue you undergo training and you study the subject thoroughly. Even if You have the inborn talent of acting in you then you have to get trained. There is a lot of competition in the market and there should be a reason why one should choose you. You have to keep polishing, training, and practicing because acting is an art. Let’s suppose you dance, the more you practice, the better dancer you become. Even if you are a born dancer you do training and practice. It goes the same way in Acting. Newcomers usually do not pay heed to train but that is something really important which they shouldn’t miss. Even I am taking workshops to improve and be better as an actor.

#Elon Musk & Twitter

There

has been a surge in the investment on technology, especially post COVID. With the advent of Meta, crypto currency and multiple other platforms, everyone is hooked on to the possibility of what’s yet to come. And the big players in the field, are often the richest few in the world. Elon Musk is a new name, only if you live under a rock. The spaceEx CEO, has lead the foundations of multiple revolutionary technologies. Be it Tesla, one of the most desired cars in the world right now, or the spaceEx missions, that people around the world are hooked onto.

This is the reason, when there were talks about him purchasing a big share of Twitter, the social media platform; people got engaged into it like anything. And when it was finally revealed that a deal of $44 billions is made, it immediately became the centre of discussion. Even though his tweets are one of the most shared ones, and he has literally a huge impact on the share market and investment around the globe; Many people found it almost offensive of him to be buying such a platform with a huge impact globally. However, he adresses himself as an advocate for free speech. There have been remarks about the free speech policy of Twitter. Elon Musk has made quite a few remarks, suggesting he would liberalise the social media app like none before. He shares another tweet stating,”I hope that even my worst critics remain on Twitter, because that is what free speech means.” There are possibilities of additional features, like the most wanted edit feature on twitter. At present, one cannot edit their tweets without deleting their post and loosing the likes and shares. As we consider all the possibilities of Elon Musk purchasing Twitter, one cannot but wonder the impact it can create around the world. Especially, at the political environment around the globe. With the accusations made on Facebook during the US Presidential Elections, one does have doubts on the short term and long term effect. However, Elon Musk continues to be on a positive response about his current move and so does his huge fan following. Be it him securing his finances from multiple sources from around the world, to support his bid or critical comments on his tweets, Elon knows his impact and money well. Although right now, the world might be divided, based on their opinions regarding the deal, but the common ground for thought is how impactful this could be in the upcoming years.
