Hobbies For Pre-Teens/Teens In Algeria

Some hobbies for pre teens/ teens are mostly going to school like us kids here but not all of the population of algerian teens attend school. Teens usually go to school, with 9 years of primary school, 6 hours a day. You can go to secondary school but most teens don't so they can learn trades and go to another school, vocational school. They attend that for 4 years. To go to college you must pass a test. So teens in Algeria are like us teens. “Only 12% of Algerian children attend school (some are muslim).”

Coming Of Age Traditions

Coming of Age Traditions

Coming of Age Traditions Traditions for Algerian people can go along with what they wear, eat, and even just everyday things. Food is usually eaten with the thumb, forefinger, middle finger, of your right hand. They make food over hot coals. What women wear is the hair (a long outer garment) beneath it women wear a sarouel (loose-fitting trousers) they usually cover their head with scarves and veils and wear vibrant colors. Men wear a burnoose (a hooded woolen cloak) and a gandoura (a long, loose gown). Teens get to wear non-traditional stuff like sneakers and t-shirts.

Religions

Religions Most of the people in Algeria are muslim (99%) and the other people are “other” (1%). Most of the population on algerians are muslim and islam. The state makes islam the state religion on algeria but its based on religious belief. If you are a woman and a man who have two different religions you are not to get married. The French brought Catholicism so they also believe in that. They also believe in Christianity but the population of people who believe in Christianity is very small.

School Life

School Life Algerian school life is similar to their hobbies, but it has its differences. Kids and teens school life used to get taught in all french then the french and algerian school kids were segregated. 30 and 10 percent were enrolled in secondary school and ⅓ were enrolled in primary school. teens usually go to school, with 9 years of primary school, 6 hours a day. Pre Teen Social Life

Pre Teen Social Life Algerian teen social life is not as social as our teen social life. Teens were separated so they didn't really have a social life. The only way you were communicating with another person was through kinship ties. The barber groups were not organized, they were democratic and egalitarian and they were run by adult males.
