40 HOURS OF EUCHARISTIC ADORATION JUNE 11 TO 13

Our Patron, St. John Neumann brought this Devotion to America. In our 35th Anniversary as a Parish, let us give thanks to the Lord for his indescribable gift! Sign-ups this weekend after all Masses! Day and night Jesus dwells in the Blessed Sacrament because of His infinite love for you! “Behold, I will be with you always even to the end of the world” (Mt. 28:20), because “I have loved you with an everlasting love, and constant is my affection for you” (Jer. 31:3). To register, please write or call: Carmen Andrade 305-815-1795 - Email: [email protected]

“THE HARVEST IS PLENTY, LABORERS ARE FEW…” St. John Neumann Parish Family is blessed again with the assignment of parochial vicar, Fr. Tomasz Pawel Parzynski, who comes to us from the Diocese of Springfield, MA. He was baptized in Glusk, Poland and received his early schooling in Lublin, Poland. He earned a BA in Philosophy and a Masters of Divinity at the Theology Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow. In addition, Fr. Tomas is a graduate of the Cathedral School for Organists in Lublin and served as the organist at several churches in Lublin. He studied at St Cyril and Methodius Seminary in Orchard Lake, Michigan, Boston University, Grupo Educativo Anglo Americano in Puebla, Mexico and St John Seminary in Brighton, Massachusetts. Fr. Tomasz was ordained to the priesthood June 5, 2010 at St. Michael Cathedral in Springfield, MA. Prior to his assignment at St. John Neumann, Fr. Tomasz served several parishes throughout the Springfield diocese. As Fr. Tomasz says, “only God knows’ what brought him to the US. He had wanted to study in a different country and the US was particularly welcoming to him as a stranger and young man interested in the priesthood. He is fluent in Polish, English and Spanish. Fr. Tomasz’s has a married brother and a niece and nephew in Poland. His father passed away when he was 15 years old. His mother is retired and living in Poland as well. Fr. Tomasz likes languages, good music and good food. Clearly, he has come to the right Parish! We welcome Fr. Tomasz to Miami and to our Parish Family. St. John Neumann, Pray for us.

PASTOR’S REFLECTION The Most Holy Trinity May 31, 2015 Dear Friends, St. Paul tells us that we are children of God by “adoption”. What is the significance of the image of “adoption” by God? What would it mean for me to live as God’s adopted child? We pray that God may give us the courage to open our hearts to Him daily so that He can help us to live as faithful sons and daughters. Be assured of my prayers for you and for your dear ones. May the good Lord bless you with wisdom and peace. Please pray for me. In Christ, Msgr. Pablo A. Navarro

A WEEKEND RETREAT FOR MEN THAT ARE LAW ENFORCEMENT & FIREFIGHTERS (PAST AND PRESENT) -What is the Men’s Law Enforcement & Firefighter Emmaus? It is a retreat put on by men of the law enforcement and fire fighting community, based on the appearance of Jesus to the disciples walking along the Road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35). -Why a Men’s Law Enforcement & Firefighter Emmaus? Because every emergency first responder could use some time away from the hustle and bustle of today’s busy world; allowing his Christian brothers in the law enforcement & fire fighting community to serve him.

-What happens during the weekend? You will hear a few talks given by different men from different parishes. Still, no lectures or assignments.

-When? From Friday evening, July 17, through Sunday afternoon, July 19

-Where? Morning Star Renewal Center 7275 SW 124t Street Pinecrest, Florida 33156

-Is there a donation required? Yes, a donation of $150.00. However, do not let this prevent you from attending. If you need any assistance, speak to anyone of the below listed brothers. Mike Kirkland (MDPD) 305-431-8101 Wil Fleites (MDFR) 786-218-2555 Robert Costa (MDFR) 786-367-7633
