Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College (BCREC) - is a private engineering college in Durgapur named after legendary
physician Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, located in Paschim Bardhaman district, West Bengal, about 160 kilometers from the city of Kolkata, India. It was established on 21 August 2000 with its first batch of students. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Engineering, Technology and Management. The college is affiliated under All India Council for Technical Education and Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of
Technology formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT).

Editor’s Message Dear readers, As the editor of our E-magazine, Management Odissi, we are thrilled to present to you the latest edition, brimming with a cornucopia of events and activities that have enlivened our campus. In this edition you will find a medley of articles and information that showcase the diverse talents and interests of our student body. From in-depth research projects to creative writing pieces and from interviews with industry experts to coverage of exciting campus events, our contributors have poured their hearts and minds into bringing you a publication that is both informative and inspiring. The highlights of this edition are the feature on our activities, event, seminars and many more which brought together accomplished professionals and ambitious students for a day of invaluable networking and learning opportunities. Day 5:The last and the final day of induction started with two consecutive seminars on “HRM practices and digitalization” by Mr. Koushik Mukherjee, UNIT HR, IR & Admin, PCBL.
A seminar on “Challenges and Rewards of a career in Sales and Marketing” by Mr. Abhradeep Majumdar, Zonal Business Manager, Medgenome Labs Ltd. “Finding Nemo: Treasure Hunt” where the students in group were to hunt for hidden treasurers.
A motivational movie on “The Pursuit of Happyness” was projected on the screen where the theme was survival, determination, and never giving up on dreams.
Elocution -Corruption-free India for a developed nation SAIL-DSP is organizing an Elocution contest as part of Vigilance Awareness week as per the following details: Topic: Corruption is detrimental to the development of a nation.
