EDITORIAL STAFF The school magazine for the year 2022-23 was published with the theme ‘India’s G-20 Chairmanship'. With creative splendours and cognitive outputs, the magazine has been a coherence of digital and traditional effort. This magazine depicts the events and programmes conducted in this year along with the achievements. The magazine has been idealized by the the editorial team comprising Naseema Begum, Rita Sharma, Pinky , Mantasha Fatma, Mohit Kumar.

Inception of G20 The G20 was founded in 1999 after the Asian financial crisis as a forum for the Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors to discuss global economic and financial issues.

G20 Members The Group of Twenty (G20) comprises 19 countries (Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Türkiye, United Kingdom and United States) and the European Union. The G20 members represent around 85% of the global GDP, over 75% of the global trade, and about two-thirds of the world population.

How G20 Works >The G20 Presidency steers the G20 agenda for one year and hosts the Summit. The G20 consists of two parallel tracks: the Finance Track and the Sherpa Track. Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors lead the Finance Track while Sherpas lead the Sherpa Track after Finance Track. >The G20 process from the Sherpa side is coordinated by the Sherpas of member countries, who are personal emissaries of the Leaders. Finance Track is led by Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors of the member countries. Within the two tracks, there are thematically oriented working groups in which representatives from the relevant ministries of the members as well as from invited/guest countries and various international or ganisations participate. >The Finance Track is mainly led by the Ministry of Finance. These working groups meet regularly throughout the term of each Presidency. The Sherpas oversee negotiations over the course of the year, discussing agenda items for the Summit and coordinating the substantive work of the G20. >In addition, there are Engagement Groups which bring together civil societies, parliamentarians, think tanks, women, youth, labour, businesses and researchers of the G20 countries. >The Group does not have a permanent secretariat. The Presidency is supported by the Troika – previous, current and incoming Presidency. During India’s Presidency, the troika will comprise Indonesia, India and Brazil, respectively.

G20 की स्थापना

G20 की स्थापना 1999 में एशियाई वित्तीय संकट के बाद वित्त मंत्रियों और केंद्रीय बैंक के गिननरों के शिए िैश्विक आर्थनक और वित्तीय मुद्दों पर चचान करने के शिए एक मंच के रूप में की गई थी।

G20 के सदस्य

ग्रप ु ऑफ ट्िें टी (G20) में 19 दे ि (अर्जेंटीना, ऑस्रे शिया, ब्रार्जीि, कनाडा, चीन, फ्ांस, र्जमननी, भारत, इंडोनेशिया, इटिी, र्जापान, कोररया गणराज्य, मैश्ससको, रूस, सऊदी अरब, दक्षिण अफ्ीका, तुर्कनये, यूनाइटे ड र्कंगडम और संयस ु त राज्य अमेररका) और यूरोपीय संघ िाशमि हैं। G20 सदस्य दे िों में िैश्विक सकि घरे िू उत्पाद का िगभग 85%, िैश्विक व्यापार का 75% से अर्िक और विवि की िगभग दो-ततहाई आबादी है ।

G20 की काययशैली

•G20 अध्यिता के तहत एक िर्न के शिए G20 एर्जेंडा का संचािन र्कया र्जाता है और शिखर सम्मेिन का आयोर्जन र्कया र्जाता है । G20 में दो समानांतर रै क होते हैं: वित्त रै क और िेरपा रै क। वित्त मंिी और सेंरि बैंक के गिननर वित्त रै क का नेतत्ृ ि करते हैं र्जबर्क िेरपा रै क का नेतत्ृ ि िेरपा करते हैं। •िेरपा पि की ओर से G20 प्रर्िया का समन्िय सदस्य दे िों के िेरपाओं द्िारा र्कया र्जाता है , र्जो नेताओं के तनर्जी प्रतततनर्ि होते हैं। वित्त रै क का नेतत्ृ ि सदस्य दे िों के वित्त मंिी और सेंरि बैंक गिननर करते हैं। दो रै क के भीतर, विर्यगत रूप से उन्मुख कायन समूह हैं श्र्जनमें सदस्यों के संबंर्ित मंिाियों के साथ-साथ आमंत्रित/अततर्थ दे िों और विशभन्न अंतरराष्ट्रीय संगठनों के प्रतततनर्ि भाग िेते हैं (वित्त रै क मुख्य रूप से वित्त मंिािय के नेतत्ृ ि में है )। ये कायन समूह प्रत्येक अध्यिता के पूरे कायनकाि में तनयशमत बैठकें करते हैं। िेरपा िर्न के दौरान हुई िातान का पयनिेिण करते हैं, शिखर सम्मेिन के शिए एर्जेंडा आइटम पर चचान करते हैं और G20 के मूि कायन का समन्िय करते हैं। •इसके अिािा, ऐसे सम्पकन समूह हैं र्जो G20 दे िों के नागररक समार्जों, सांसदों, विचार मचों, महहिाओं, यि ु ाओं, श्रशमकों, व्यिसायों और िोिकतानओं को एक साथ िाते हैं। •इस समूह का कोई स्थायी सर्चिािय नहीं है । इसकी अध्यिता रोइका द्िारा समर्थनत है - वपछिा, ितनमान और आने िािा अध्यिता। भारत की अध्यिता के दौरान, रोइका में िमिः इंडोनेशिया, भारत और ब्रार्जीि िाशमि होंगे।
