CHAIRMAN MESSAGE As a private Sudanese business group, we have evolved through generations of founders, and we continue to grow and progress to ensure sustainable growth over generations. We work in a country with a population of more than forty million people, where youth constitute no less than 70% of the population. This fact represents a great challenge for us, as we must work to provide these young people with job opportunities that are commensurate with their capabilities and aspirations, as well as their pursuit of a quality life. This necessitates us to offer products and services that are compatible with these ambitions and great expectations of our people. We always strive for development and growth while supporting the aspirations of our society and everything that brings about its prosperity and development. We seek to align our work strategies with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We are working to promote goals such as fighting poverty and developing agriculture in a country that is rich in natural resources and are forging partnerships with a number of civil society organizations in the fields of health and education. We have also been working hard to provide equal opportunities for employment to women and people with disabilities. As a result of our efforts, women now comprise 70% of the workforce in some of our organizations, and we have proved successful in our project to include people with disabilities in our workforce. OUR TIMELINE To be the best choice for our customers in all what we offer. 1997 Elsafwa Automobile was established 1997 as an agent for Volkswagen for both passengers and commercial vehicles that are compatible for the Sudanese market 2016 Elsafwa Engineering was established in 2016, to extend its portfolio to include agricultural machineries and Farm implements 2002 In 2002 Elsafwa group diversified its business toventure into home appliances by establishing Essence Trade & Investment 2017 In 2017 Elsafwa Group acquired the agency of FAW passenger vehicles from China 06

ELSAFWA AUTOMOBILE Established in 1997 is an authorized and only dealer for Volkswagen in Sudan. Our commitment is to provide our facilities and services to make the purchase and ownership of a Volkswagen vehicle as satisfying as possible. It has a state of Art facility and one of the most developed service centers in Sudan fully equipped with the latest technologies to provide customers with quality services and an extensive range of genuine spare parts. Elsafwa Automobile Assembly Plant (SAPP) was established (SAAP) line for vehicles assembly for both SKD & CKD. OUR PORTFOLIO AUTOMOTIVE ELSAFWA ENGINEERING Established in the year 2016 to include a wider automotive range such Tractors and Farm implements as Oils & Lubricants, Power Generators, tires, and batteries. We are the sole agents for international brands such as International Tractors Company –ITL, selling its famous Sonalika Tractors & Farm Equipment (India), Kaen Makina Otomotive (Turkish Farm Equipment) OPET-Oil & Lubricants from KOC group in Turkey. 14

OUR PORTFOLIO HOME APPLIANCES ESSENCE TRADING COMPANY Essence Trading Co. was established in 2002 as a leading retailer of consumer electronics and household appliances in Sudan. The company has revolutionized the retail concept through a wide network of branded stores offering quality products and exceptional customer experiences as well as a world class after sales services provision. Through the unique relationship with BEKO/ARCELIK, Elsafwa group has grown continuously over the years to become one of the leading entities in the home appliances in the Sudan. Extending its portfolio by promoting its own brand called SMART covering selected range of consumers’ electronics and baking equipment. The company has a modern assembly line with ability to assemble TVs, ACs and washing machines at daily production capacity ranging from 300-500 units according to the different types of the assembled products. 18

OUR PORTFOLIO MICROFINANCE ELHASSAN MICRO-FINANCING Established in 2022, Elsafwa Group has 40 % share in EMFC, the purpose is to provide easy and affordable financing to farmers, cattle raisers, producers, and startups. 20

It brings together advanced services by offering the most demanded food and goods that is needed to help the business grow and create a key differentiator on the Sudanese market.
