Prom will be held at Stock Brook Manor on Thursday 29 th June. Invitation to Prom will be dependent on the grade awarded to each student for Behaviour, Effort, Punctuality & Homework, which all class teachers completed during Data Drops. Any student who achieves an average score of 3 or above in the Autumn and Spring Data Drops will automatically be invited to prom. If a student scored lower than 3 in the Autumn data drop, but scored 3 in the Spring data drop, he/she will be given the opportunity to attend subject to a review of behaviour during the Spring Term. If a student has scored below 3 in both data drops, but has made significant progress from Autumn to Spring, permission to attend may be granted in recognition of this. If a student’s conduct deteriorates significantly in the time between the Spring data drop and date of leaving the school reserves the right to rescind the invitation. If a student has scored 3 or above, but is a key disruptor out of the classroom/outside of school, the school may decline an invitation to Prom. In line with this, we reserve the right to refuse a student a place at the Ball, or to withdraw a student at any time as a result of poor behaviour. This will also result in forfeiting any payments made towards the Ball.

Please note that parents should always contact their child’s form tutor in the first instance. If you would then like to contact the Head of Year, please use the email above. Student absence must be recorded on Studybugs If your child is absent from school, to ensure that the correct absent code is used, you must report via Studybugs.

You can do this by either visiting the Studybugs website: https://studybugs.com/ or by downloading the Studybugs app.

Students are not allowed to have any medication such as paracetamol on them while in school, it must be kept in the medical bay. Asthma pumps and EpiPens, however, should be carried by the students at all times.

sQuid Student Sickness / Illness Procedure We advise students who feel ill during the school day to inform medical bay in the first instance prior to calling their parents. We ask parents to support us by liaising with the school before coming to collect their children. Please ensure that if your child suffers from asthma they carry their inhaler with them at all times. Car Park Barrier Please remember the car park barrier remains closed between 8.00 & 8.30 and again at 14.45 & 14.55 to ensure the safe departure of pupils from the premises. Parents should not be picking up pupils from inside the school gates unless they have a dispensation to do so. If you have permission to collect your child from inside the school please arrive before these times and wait . Thank you.

If your child has an appointment and needs to leave school early, please give them a note stating the time and who is collecting. Without a note, they will not be able to leave their lesson and this will add a delay to your leaving time. You are not required to call the office to confirm.

Did you know that you can set up an auto top-up on your child’s sQuid account, to ensure that they always have credit to buy lunch? To do this, follow these simple instructions: Login, Menu, Auto top up, manage top up, enable a top up, when balance drops below (select £5.00 or £10.00), Top up with (select £15.00, £30.00 or £50.00), Save. Each account has a spend cap of £5.00 per day. If you would like to reduce this, please contact our Finance Department.

Do you have (or know of someone with) talents you would like us to shout about? Please contact your child's Form Tutor or email us at [email protected] with details.
