Aragon institutions The Autonomous Community of Aragon is ruled by its Statute of Autonomy approved in 1982 and its later modifications, the last one was approved by the Ley Orgánica 5/2007. The institutions of the Autonomous Community of Aragón are the Cortes, the President, the Government or Diputación General and the Justicia. (art. 32)
The Cortes of Aragon The Cortes of Aragon represent the aragonese people, they exert the Community's own legislative authority, they have a single-chamber nature and are composed by Deputies elected by universal suffrage, equal, free, direct and secret. The electoral district is the province and 18 Deputies are elected for Huesca, 14 for Teruel and 35 for Zaragoza. (art. 33 and next ones).

The President and the Government of Aragon The President of the Government of Aragon is elected by the Cortes among its Deputies and named by the King. (art. 46) The Government of Aragon or Diputación General de Aragón exerts the statutory and executive authority in the aragonese Autonomous Community. It is composed by the President, the Vicepresidents, as appropriate, and the Counselors. (art. 53)

The Justicia of Aragon, without prejudice to the duties attributed to the spanish Ombudsman and in coordination with him, has the specific tasks of protection and defense of the individual and collective rights recognized in the Statute of Autonomy, the tutelage of the aragonese legal system, watching over its defense and application, and the defense of the Statute.

ARAGON INSTITUTIONS
Courts and Tribunals (Juzgados y Tribunales de Justicia ) Aragon, at December 31st, 2013. The Aragon High Court of Justice is the organ where the judicial system of Aragón culminates and where the consecutive procedural instances will finish when they haven't finished in other jurisdictional organ placed in the Autonomous Community, and with no prejudice to the Supreme Court's area of responsibility. The Justice Administration. It belongs to the Autonomous Community: The responsibility over all the personnel serving at the Justice Administration that is not integrated in the Judiciary, according to that stipulated in the Ley Orgánica del Poder Judicial. The organization, the endowment and the management of the judicial offices and the organs and services supporting the jurisdictional organs. The Autonomous Community will be able to, in agreement with the State, participate in the management of the deposit accounts and the judiciary consignment and their returns. The Autonomous Community of Aragon has the competence over the Aragon Justice Administration's physical resources and is in charge of the free justice services organization and free legal guidance. The financial statements of the Autonomous Community's budget represent the annual, systematic, numbered expresion of the expense and income items. The consolidated budget is the result of the consolidation of the Autonomous Community and its Public Institutions' budget. It comprises the budgets of the Cortes of Aragon, the Consejo Económico y Social , the Comisión Jurídico Asesora and the Departments (Consejerías ) of the Government of Aragon, so as the following Autonomous Institutions and Public Bodies: - Instituto Aragonés de Servicios Sociales - Servicio Aragonés de Salud - Instituto Aragonés de Empleo - Instituto Aragonés de la Mujer - Instituto Aragonés de la Juventud - Centro de Investigación y Tecnología Agroalimentaria

The functional consolidated Autonomous Community's budget comprises its own consolidation and its Public Institutions' budget, showing the expense classified according to its functional purpose, without prejudice of its organic (Departments or Consejerías ) or economic (staff, investments, etc.) adscription.
