Introduction

Safety Instructions

Indoor use only. Keep away from rain, moisture, splashing and dripping liquids.

Risk of electroshock when opening the cover. Touching live wires can cause life-threatening electroshocks. This luminaire does not have a built-in device to disconnect it from the electric mains. Make sure to electrically isolate the luminaire before installation or maintenance activities are performed. Do not use when damage to housing or cables is noticed.

Never install on live electronic circuits. Make sure to cut the power first. Do not use the luminaire with a cracked or broken protective shield. Disconnect immediately from the mains. This is a Class 2 product.

General Guidelines

Refer to the Velleman® Service and Quality Warranty on the last pages of this manual. Keep this device away from dust and extreme temperatures.

Protect this device from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.

Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it. All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty. Only use the device for its intended purpose. All other uses may lead to short circuits, burns, electroshocks, crash, etc. Using the device in an unauthorized way will void the warranty. Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems. Do not use outside the technical specifications (see §10). Due to constant product improvements, the actual product appearance might differ from the shown images. Choose a suitable mounting location. Refer to the table on page 3 and take the correct measurements [L] according to your model. Discretely mark the emplacement for the screws. Drill self-tapping screws (included) into the ceiling or wall, making sure to leave about 3 mm of the screw thread exposed. Slide each hook over its screw, lock the hooks and tighten the screws. Fasten the body onto the hooks. Insert the power cord into the power input and connect to the mains. Note that you can interconnect two lamps using the included interconnection cable or connector. It is advisable to insert the end cap into the unused power output. Switch on and off with the on-off switch.

Cleaning and Maintenance This lamp does not need any particular maintenance. Occasionally wipe the lamp with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents.
