Honoring the Legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.
"Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase." -Martin Luther King, Jr.
As we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we remind our Express family of his vision for a society where all individuals, regardless of race or ethnicity, are afforded equal opportunities. As we celebrate Reverend King's legacy, we acknowledge the freedom and responsibility to create and maintain a work environment that promotes inclusivity, acceptance, safety, and respect for everyone. Ensuring equal employment opportunities for all our employees, associates and clients embody us. This day serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made to achieve these rights and the importance of continuously striving for justice and equality in all our actions. We encourage each of you to continue taking action and giving back to your communities through volunteerism. By doing your part to promote hope and equality, we can inspire new movements and foster consistent change. Our power to lead by example and stand up for what is right, just as Dr. King did in his tireless fight for civil rights and equality, moves all of us.

Digital Marketing: January 2023 Jobs on Facebook Are Going Away: Now What?
As 2022 rolled to a close, Facebook announced that it is doing away with its jobs platform and will shut it down on Feb. 22, 2023. While this presents a change in how to recruit on social media, there are still ways to promote your open positions on Facebook.
Facebook Groups
Groups are an increasingly important part of your recruitment strategy on Facebook. The social media giant continues to re-emphasize through their advertising and messaging that Groups are where they want users to interact. Finding groups relevant to job seekers, joining, and then sharing job postings from your page into those groups will help you reach a targeted demographic of prospective associates to share your openings with.
Check with the administrator(s) of the group on the rules for posting. Users who flood groups with posts can be banned, so post based on the frequency of activity in the group, focusing on a few jobs per day or week. These groups also offer your office the opportunity to be the jobs expert. Consider sharing content that can help job seekers find their next jobs. Traditionally, you will post in a Facebook group as your personal profile, but many groups now allow Pages to join as members. When posting, be aware if you are posting from your personal profile or from your office’s Facebook Page.
Start by going to Facebook and entering one of the relevant group terms in the search function in the top-left corner of the site. Then, filter the results to show Groups. For more information about using Facebook Groups for recruiting, go to My.ExpressPros.com and search “Jobs on Facebook ” or see page 45 of the Social Media Playbook.
For more information and ideas for posting jobs on Social Media, visit the Social Media Job Posting Resources page.

MAKING YOUR MARK Bella Fairchild Bella in Scottsdale was one of the main reasons I have found success in Express. She inspired me to keep going even when things got discouraging. This girl is SO good she can almost single-handedly run the office and she hasn't even been there a year! Love ya girl! Thank you for being so amazing.

Jenni Moriarty From the HR Manager, Kimberly, at Leatherman Tool Group: “Thank you, Jenni. We appreciate your smile, your response time, your commitment to finding great temporary staffing even though this is one of the most challenging staffing supply shortages in history. Thank you for helping us replace those that are not a good fit quickly, replacing with a better fit, hearing our leaders needs and most of all being you!” Jenni – you are WORLD CLASS! Thank you for all you do to support this key Express client with care and passion!
