Following the footprints of

OUR Torch Bearers

From the Profilic Pen ,

Gone are the days when the academic scores on report cards would boast of a child’s acumen, when percentage of marks scored could predict the success, when rote memorization could guarantee brilliant results and when cramming handful of formulas, principles could pave way for achievements. The face of education is undergoing a massive change. Research based and Skill based education is the need of hour. Education is gradually moving towards significant content, with the aim of inspiring the learners to think critically and solve problems, to be creative and innovative. The present education structure is playing a great role in this direction because it has evolved to be experiential, holistic, integrated, inquiry-driven, discovery-oriented, learner-centred, discussion-based, flexible and of course enjoyable. Fortunately, a child’s intelligence quotient is not merely measured by his/her academic performance these days. The curriculum today has expanded its branches in all spheres, including basic arts, crafts, humanities, games, sports and fitness, languages, literature, culture, and values, in addition to science and mathematics, to develop all aspects and capabilities of learners; and make education more wellrounded, useful to the learner. I believe, every child is unique, every child is different and that’s what makes this world beautiful. The school has been making earnest efforts in the direction for grooming the students to be morally, socially, globally and environmentally responsible individuals. ‘ANUGOONJ’ is a palette of different shades of experiential and innovative learning initiatives taken by the school. ‘ANUGOONJ’ is the mirror that reflects the different shades of our students’ creative impetus. It is the resonance of the achievements of our bourgeoning intelligentsias, promising artists and trailblazers. We aim at not only celebrating the success of our achievers but encouraging even the tiniest effort of the blooms of our garden, towards brilliance and excellence. I congratulate all the achievers who have proven their mettle by excelling in different arenas and wish all the best to the students for the forthcoming competitions, exams and assessments.
