We cannot continue without a mention for the irreplaceable Mark Rogers who sadly is no longer with us but is always in our thoughts as we strive to keep up the fantastic work that he used to carry out in order to keep this League at a standard which is the envy of many a League all around the County. The foundations were there and through hard work by all involved we have managed to keep things going throughout what has been a difficult time for all. A big thank you must go to all our Cup Sponsors, Nick Childs from Let’s Go Party & Let’s Go Green Cabs, Dave Ingram from The Rose, Paul Turner from Faryearny Building Services, Daniel Yates from Kent Carpets and Aidan Christie and Jeanette Roberts from The Red Lion Bluetown, Alan Doucy from Sharrocks Insurance & lastly our League Sponsor Lee Havill, Havill Funeral Services for his continued support. Without the fantastic support from all we would not be here today. Thank you to all members of the League Committee for all the time invested and hard work that goes on behind the scenes in order to get us to these finals every year. We are always looking to add to our numbers so should anyone wish to be considered for a place on the committee please feel free to talk to any of us around the ground. Last thank you goes to Matt Smith and the hard working staff at Sheppey United Football club who allow us the honour of holding our finals in this stadium which is for us the best in Kent and we are delighted to give all the teams the opportunity of playing in this tremendous stadium on such a great pitch with fantastic facilities. LEYSDOWN FC Leysdown are a family club. Without it we would be nothing so I would like to take this time to thank the players who stuck around this year when things got tough and after a rough end to last year. I would like to thank John Osmond who goes above and beyond for the club whether it be washing the kits, putting the nets up or sending us the newspaper articles in the WhatsApp group your love for the badge drives us on. I would like to thank Russell who is our biggest supporter follows us home and away. I would like to thank our sponsors for their continued support. Finally I would like to remember Larry Corneille who looks down on us weekly and I’m sure has given us a bit of luck since he passed. Our motto is EXARO EGO INTEREO and we stand by it.

Harry Bates

Leysdown’s unsung hero, Batesy loves the dirty side of the game from housery, hitting big tackles and always has the dirtiest kit on the pitch, if the old firm derby was a player, it is this young man.

Calvin Campbell

Duel Signed from Medway side Minster Village, The Scottish International has managed 50% clean sheet ratio and even notched himself an assist.

Morgan Clarke

Morgs is coming back from a lengthy injury which saw his season cut short last year leading the line with 9 goals in 5 games. He brought the goals with him on his return this year scoring 2 minutes into his cameo appearance. The silent assassin is back.

Jordan Connor

JC loves to hate the gaffer and tells him at every opportunity what he thinks. However, he keeps his shirt week in week out being our highest scoring defender this year most of which coming against Range Rover Colts who had a few things to say about him. When he is onside, he’s dangerous.

Danny Davies

Danny is one of the hardest working players I have had the pleasure of managing never moans and does his job when he enters the field. Was also robbed of goal of the season by Nick Wheeler

Kalib Dawkins

Budda is the human embodiment of a whippet, he will not be out worked on a football pitch he will run himself into the ground for the badge and has a bit of pace about him, one thing for sure if you let him in behind you’re in trouble

Morgan Elavia

Morgan has only featured a few times this season only signing in January, but he has made an instant impact running the midfield.

Joseph Ganiwa

As Jonny O calls him Twinkle Toe Joe is our current top goal scorer some will say it’s because he don’t pass but the stats talk and he is a real threat to any defence, with 3 goal of the year nominations to his name it’s no surprise he is the first name on the team sheet.

Perry Hayler

Baby Ginge, the laziest active centre back I’ve ever come across loves having his hands on his hips and like Shakira his hips don’t lie, pace power and precision he’s a real boost to our squad this year.

Russell Jeffery

RJ brings a wealth of experience and calmness to the squad, playing a number of games this year controlling the middle like he is still 21, a true gaffer in the making.

Tyler King

Not getting as much game time as he probably deserves Ty shows up week in week out to support his teammates and it doesn’t go unnoticed, a big part of the squad and on his day a tricky winger

Chimdi Otuadinma

A true number 9 Chim offers us everything whether that’s coming short or spinning in behind you cant let this man have a sight of goal with 10 goals he’s a shoe in for the Golden boot this season.

AJ Oyediran

Taking on the responsibility as vice skipper this year AJ has stepped up to the mantle. He is our most capped player this season like his challenges he’s late every week but lets you know he’s there. Cruising around the pitch with his bestie the stats do not do him justice.

Harry Parsons

Love Island has come back into the squad a different player after taking a few months out he returned and has been a staple in the side ever since it goes without saying he’s a real danger on the ball.

Mikey Penman

Returning from an ACL injury having Mikey available is a huge boost, being assistant most of the season it was good to see him make his return in a 3-1 victory over sportsyard.

Lee Sayer

Sayer is a true legend of the club. One things for certain if you see number 8 with cut socks and bright boots its game over, focusing more on family and Saturdays this year but still answering calls to come help us when were short.

Jack Shaw

On Loan from Swale Madrid, Shawry has featured a few times for us this year putting in some good performances.

Jack Sayer (C)

The Skipper was a changed man this year until “one sat up”. On his day Jack is one of the best midfielders in the league, I have never met someone with a footballing brain like it he is a real asset to the team and deserving of the armband.

Kane Sedge

Kano brings so much to this side with his ability to play any position on the pitch and for the second year in a row it’s a real possibility, naturally talented from signing as a boy the fortress has made a monster of a player that’s if he can get out of bed

Joe Skinner

Leysdown’s Party Boy – When skinner was signed we wondered how his feet were so quick then he was spotted on the Vineyard dancefloor doing the cha cha slide and it all made sense this boy has moves and if you give him half a yard hell slide past you.

Craig Street

Part of the furniture at this point, Streety has been involved when called upon this year the definition of a one club player we love you Craig.

Daniel Swan

Swanny joined midway through the season adding experience and quality to our back line and with more questions than a 5 year old gives the gaffer a headache both on and off the pitch.

Kieran Thomas

Probably the most unpredictable player in the squad, Kier decides when the other team score or if he wants a clean sheet. Starring in a semi-final Penalty shootout this year and constantly trying to come up for corners we call him divvy Kier.

Nicky Thompson

No one likes this title but Nicky has got to be the most improved player this year he’s definitely been in training camps on all his holidays this year because the Nicky T we have this year is different class. Id also like to Congratulate Nicky and Jessica on expecting a baby.

Reuben Tyler

Big Reu, bringing balls down on his chest like Pamela Anderson in her prime Reub has been a solid addition to the squad scoring 5 in as many games, he may duck a header or two but trust me he knows where the net is.

PARK REGIS NEO FC This is park regis neos third season together and are currently having another successful season to date with a good run in the senior kent cup this season and are battling at the top End of the table and again reaching a cup Final. Reece Heasman

This young goalkeeper is a tremendous talent and is a firm favourite within the group some of the saves and distribution he does amazes us week in week out.

Ryan Glover

An experienced keeper who came over to be understudy to Reece has had limited game time due to reeces perfomances this season but is always ready when called upon and what a number 2 to have.

Reece Bodkin

A reliable experienced defender and one of the nicest guys you’ll meet great attitude towards his teammates and management only scores worldies.

Harry Murphy

Been at the club from day one a young talent whos also very clever pace to burn works hard every week for the team.

Mitchell Horn

A solid centre back who Organises and plays with his heart on his sleeve chips in with his fair share of goals loves having debates with referees.

Shane Sandy

Another solid defender very strong and good in the air a leader of the team loves a goal.

John Turner

Left sided player who loves a ping reliable and solid player for the team

Will Baacke

Had a spell Out with a broken foot midway through the season came back even stronger an asset to the team been here from day one also.

Will Holder

Signed this season a versatile left sided player loves to play short play football techncally very good with a great attitude.

Jack Brown

Signed this season been solid and workrate unreal in the middle of the park playing some of his best football to date having a great season.

Charlie Taylor

Captain of the team. Can play in a few positions for the team like he has this season always gives 110 percent and loves a tackle and a goal.

Jim Rogers

Another match winner on his day works his socks off without the ball and carries it forward when in possesion top Player.

Steven Goldsmith

Signed this year a match winner, bags of talent and energy enjoying his football so far cant wait to see him perform in this final.

Danny Saville

A solid player who signed this season after helping out pre season absolute machine of a man loves his darts and frankfurt.

Kristoff

A reliable Loyal Player and due to become a father again solid when ever he plays and gives 110 perecent effort and commitment.

Curtly Attenborough

A solid cdm or cm comfortable in either very technically player who has been in and out the team this year but he saved hes best for last years finals so lets hope he does again.

Dylan Tubb

A January signing great player with bags of potential will Prove to be another top signing for the neo

Joseph Tewkesbury

Having another solid season with the neo can play various positions either left or right side an asset to the club loves a toilet trip during the warm ups.

Josh Gille

Having another good season always works hard and looks like hes turning into a top target man always deserves more minutes then he gets to be honest.

Chris Griffin

Summer signing to add experience to the young squad but has also brought a lot or banter, betting and injuries.

Tommy Turner

A youngster we signed to help go from youth football to adults football the strength of the squad has limited tommys game time but has always had a great attitude and reliability when ever called upon.

Frank Phipps

Been injured the whole season been a massive miss for the neo After the season he had before cant wait to see him back in neo colours.

Harry Taylor

Another leader and sometimes moaner gives his all for the team loves an assist and a goal. Works hard every week for the team.

Liam Gardner

Another one injured all season but not long to go will Be a massive plus to the team when Liams available

Daniel Organ

Top Scorer week in week out he scores no doubt think weve seen him score all sorts of goals this season and that banger in kent cup a tricky player in the final third who will keep anyone on there toes.

Ryan Grace

Signed this season after smashing it pre season always smiling and gives his all when called upon in the squad.

Jack Marsh

A young asset for the future played a few times and already scored for the neo though.

THE MEN IN BLACK

REFEREE - Rhys Jeffery Six years ago I joined this great league as a young match official who just qualified as a L7 junior referee. As years went by the Sheppey Sunday league helped me develop game by game. The committee and other match officials stood by me with my ups and downs. I couldn’t thank them enough with the journey I have endured with the Sheppey Sunday League. Due to the help I have been fortunate to receive and the hard work I have displayed I was successfully promoted to Level 4 as a supply league referee in 2022 as well as being very fortunate to be given a successful WSL referee as my coach to push to development even further. As for today, I would like to congratulate both teams, all players and all officials on getting to the final for all their hard work this season. Well done and good luck to all.

SENIOR ASST - Graham Benham

Thoroughly enjoyed my second year back officiating. Its been a pleasure working with all the various officials both old and young and have to say the quality coming up is very encouraging. Looking forward to today's game and a great game being had by all.

THE MEN IN BLACK

JUNIOR ASST - James Walshaw

4TH OFFICIAL - Andy Samways I have been a ref since the early 70's , probably refered most of tonight's fathers and grandfather s when they played in cup finals . My ambition is to .make 50 years in the middle not long to go now
