PROBLEMATIC : Which container can efficiently transport parcels from a sorting station, in our depots, to a locker, via a delivery van ?
CONSTRAINTS : • Our workers must not carry objects
• The solution must take into account its
• 50% of vans operate at ground level
• The solution should allow each van to be
weighing more than 25 kg
• 80% of vans are not equipped with a tailgate.
environmental impact fully loaded
• The solution should allow an increase from 20 to 150 parcels/APM
SOLUTION : The proposed solution is a metal trolley with removable plastic bins to carry multiple bags or bulk parcels. This allows delivery personnel to move around with several bags at the same time, reducing the number of trips to load and unload the truck, improving efficiency while reducing the physical effort of moving the bags. The frame of the trolley is made from recycled aluminium and takes up very little space in the truck, thanks to its tension springs, in the closed position it is only 20 cm wide. It has a number of features to enhance its practicality: a holder for the ZEBRA, a pocket tray, wheel lock brakes and ergonomic handles. Moreover, it is completely modular thanks to its removable trays, it can be easily adapted to different uses in different environments.
How the tension spring system works :

Simply slide a tray into the trolley to hold it in the open position.
