A mercy meal will be served at St. Monica Catholic Church immediately following the military honors at Washington Park North Cemetery.

O bituary

RAYMOND R. MACK was born on August 23rd, 1927, in Lexington KY to Ella and Raymond Mack and departed this life on March 26, 2023. Raymond attended elementary and high school in the Fayette County school system in Lexington, KY and then went on to start his college education. Raymond was called to serve his country as part of the US Army which interrupted his college year. After serving 2 years and one year in the Reserves he returned home to finish his education at Kentucky State College in Frankfort KY. While attending college he met Patricia Brown who was also a student at Kentucky State. After graduating from college, the couple got married and a few years later had a daughter, Raymali Mack. The family moved to Indianapolis, IN where the two of them worked until retirement. Raymond worked with the federal government; first at the Finance Center and later as a civilian at Ft. Benjamin Harrison as Morale Support Director and then as a Business Analyst. Raymond ushered at Saint Monica church for several years and was a faithful member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. Raymond had a variety of interests during his lifetime. He was an avid tennis player in his younger years; he was also a licensed HAM radio operator (call letters: WA9GDO) and was a talented photographer. He also helped supervise the escorts for several of the AKA sponsored cotillions. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Patiricia Mack and daughter, Raymali Mack and a host of other loving friends.
