Cherished Memories Reflections of Life On February 27,1964, a baby girl was born into this world in Bay City, Texas to Merlene Graves and Otis Clark, who they named Lovie Faye Clark. Lovie attended elementary, junior high, and high school in Bay City, Texas and graduated from Bay City High School with the class of 1983. After graduating, Lovie attended some college and received an associates degree in Business Management. Lovie later ventured out of Bay City by moving to Houston, Texas and starting her career as a Walgreens store manager. Later transitioned into working in nursing homes, and serving her community as a beloved bus driver for different school districts across the Houston area including Bay City. Lovie was also employed by Tenaris in Bay City, Texas for three years. Her last employer was Gold Star Transit in Katy, Texas where she drove school buses for Katy ISD. Lovie’s Happiness and Motivation were her children and grandchildren. She has always gone above and beyond for them. She was always the life of the party and her presence was always wanted. Her favorite things to do were to get her nails done, hair done, and be around family and friends. Lovie’s favorite NFL team will always and forever be the Houston Texans. Lovie’s earthly journey came to an end on December 31, 2022. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Ollie Moore; paternal grandmother, Nancy Lee Clark; grandfather, Robert Lee Clark; great–grandmother, Alma Clark; great-grandfather, Sam Clark; her maternal grandmother, Alnese Graves; grandfather, Andrew Graves; and cousin, Tonia White.
