Introductory Message For the Facilitator: Welcome to the Empowerment Technologies for Senior High School Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) Module on Online Platform for ICT Content Development. This module was collaboratively designed, developed and reviewed by educators from public institutions to assist you, the teacher or facilitator in helping the learners meet the standards set by the K to 12 Curriculum while overcoming their personal, social, and economic constraints in schooling. This learning resource hopes to engage the learners into guided and independent learning activities at their own pace and time. Furthermore, this also aims to help learners acquire the needed 21st century skills while taking into consideration their needs and circumstances. In addition to the material in the main text, you will also see this box in the body of the module. As a facilitator you are expected to orient the learners on how to use this module. You also need to keep track of the learners' progress while allowing them to manage their own learning. Furthermore, you are expected to encourage and assist the learners as they do the tasks included in the module. And as a 21st Century learner, you need to globally competitive and harvest all the potentials and opportunities technology has to offer. Therefore, this module will give you understanding of existing online creation tools, platforms and applications in developing ICT content. What I Need to Know In this module, you will evaluate existing online creation tools, platforms and applications in developing ICT content for specific professional tracks. Thus, it will show you existing online creation tools, platforms and applications in developing ICT contents. You will appreciate the better ways creating contents using different platforms using the internet. You will realized how the internet has a lot of resources that can help you build your own contents on the web. At the end of this module, you are expected to: 1. And because of the advent of online platforms and applications, you have all the chance to create your own ICT contents without installing applications to your own computer or device and sparing spaces in your hard drive. In this lesson, you will learn how to maximize such technology and services in creating your best ICT contents.

However, you must be familiar with different kinds of online technology so that you can take full advantage of its use in your everyday life. On that note, it is important to consider existing online creation tools, platforms and applications for you to create your own ICT content. What is It Discussion of Activity 1 Online platforms are technologies designed to run online and/or via internet and provide interactive online use and services. Online platforms currently include, but are not limited to: Presentation or Visualization, Cloud Computing, Social Media, File Management, and Mapping. What I Have Learned Create one (1) presentation with a topic “How to prevent being infected by Corona Virus”. Choose one (1) online tool/ platform in making your presentation (slideshare, prezi, google slides). It should have a minimum of 5 slides and maximum of 10 slides. It should have pictures and texts relevant to the topic. Consider colours and contrast. Send the link of your output to your teacher.
