ABOUT ME Hello! I'm John Elmer, but you can call me 'El.' Welcome to my workspace. This is where you can see the different side of mine. Aside from having the love of music which I really fond of doing most of the time, I myself as well had a sudden taste in Arts, which I never thought in the first place that I can do something out of my comfort zone. 'm a second year college student. I go to school online, and I work at the same time as a Call Center Agent. I juggle most of my time usually around of my house and looking up the laptop all day. CRITIQUING AND RELAYOUTING DESIGN Find a printed advertising of a product, company, institution and other promotional from a magazine , brochure, flyer, newsletter and other printed materials and take a photo of its original form then write a commentary of the design based on the rules of good design discussion. write the good and bad aspect of the design . After writing all your critique and evaluation, make your own design using cut and paste method (no computer gunting ug paste) you may used other background or design to incorporate to the one improve version of the design. then write you reason why you change and improved the design that way.

LEAFLETS VS FLYER Election is on the air and very timely to our topic on the difference from a Leaflets and a flyers. There is not so much difference but a matter of quality of print. In this connection I want you to design a candidate leaflets. which contain this info. LEAFLETS Photo of the candidate ( Take your own photo or a vectorize photo or created superhero effect photo of the candidate, use your own model or you as a model candidate) use monotone or single color photo Name (full anme, or with nickname) Position your are running or the candidate is running the affiliate organisation of the candidate Limit your color to 2 or 3 color shades Please adhere on the rules of good design specially on groupings and hierarchy FLYER Take a Photo of the you desire product ( Take your own photo or a vectorize photo or created photo o a desire product or food photo, use your own set up or you as a model product) Make a tag line for the product picture (search your own tag line for the product or hugot line for the product) Manufacturer of the product ( you may use your own created company logo as company logo or you may create a new one.) Information on the availability of the store website, social media and other information. No color limits Please adhere on the rules of good design specially on groupings and hierarchy and color on purpose rule. Note: no need of complex editing and background just a good quality shot of a food or a product.

ILLUSTRATOR AND PHOTOSHOP Do the exercise on photo editing tools and design tools like illustrator. use a combination of both tools in the exercise. In the absence of adobe illustrator you may used canva and photopea and used the resources given in the exercise file. in the absence of some features of illustrator or photopea, you can used your own alternative way of doing the design. may used additional graphics and images and text but. make sure all the provided images are utilize. additional instruction is to add text or your desired company name on the brochure including logo of the company, Note: submit your jpg and and pdf file of the activity
