POINT & LINE

MONOCHROMATIC GEOMETRY

Exploring the shape

Geometry value composition

The

My

big idea from my artwork is actually something that we can see every day in our lives. If you see my artwork thoroughly, there is a variation of orange shape, a leaf, a flower, a bamboo sprout, and others. My goal for this artwork is to show that we can create a beautiful artwork by only using abstract shapes and make daily life things looks unique.

second project is geometry value composition. This projects focuses on dividing the watercolor paper into smaller squares which are 2x2 cm.

Color Theory Analogous

Geometric & Organism Composition

An analogous color is a color group of three colors next to each other in the color wheel. The analogous colors I use in this project are violet, red-violet, and red.

The

Geometric and organism composition is inspired by Sinta Tantra and Matt. W. Moore artwork. This project is divided into three-color theories. Which are monochromatic or one color, tetrad means four colors that are distributed evenly around the color wheel, and analogous or pastel colors. I use a lot of abstract shape in this artwork, but also include some geometric shape which is the perfect circle and the background in upper section.

TOTORO POSTER Movie recolour poster The

first thing I do in this project is doing a research for various cartoon movie posters and make the mood board. To make the mood board, I choose 100 photos with red-yellow and blue-green colours. After that, I used pipet in Medibang paint to select primary, secondary, and accent for this project. The primary colour used is blue-green. The secondary colour that used is red-orange. And for the accent colour, I use pink, yellow, and purple.

THE WRINKLES Skin Rendering In this project, I chose a reference photo of an old woman to learn how to render wrinkled skin on a face. The media I use is HVS A4 paper and HB, 2B, 4B, and 8B pencils.

to express the Self-Analysis Reflection (SAR) that I already made before using a shape or any object. After doing some research, I decided to use koi fish as the object to express my SAR. Koi fish is a symbol of perseverance and faithfulness in Japanese. That’s why i chose Koi fish for this project, because for me, attending the art pathway is the most significant commitment I have ever made to be faithful and perseverant in doing all my obligations.

BOTTLE & ORANGE Rendering object study I created this work as an exercise in digital rendering in the Procreate application. This digital rendering uses a reference from an original photo. However, I modified the color to be a vibrant color and look imaginary to make it interesting and not boring

THE PARK 3D Feature in Illustrator In this project I create a garden using 3d features in Adobe Illustrator, namely extrude, bevelope, and revolve. first create an isometric sketch. In this garden sketch, I added exteriors such as garden chairs, garden lights, signposts, fountains, etc. Making a sketch is not so difficult. However, when I tried to incorporate these shapes into 3D, it turned out that it required a lot of effort and was not easy.

SIAMESE AQUARIUM Creative Illustration Household Object This project is assignment are

making a creative illustration using household objects. So, after thinking and looking at the shape and details of the goods around, I decided to choose this siamese connection hydrant that I found in school as my household object. After thinking about many possibilities of what this siamese connection will be, I decided to make it into an old ruin themed aquarium. As you can see, this is the progress I made from the original photo to the sketch and the final painting. I also include the fish module that I made for this project.

DREAM CATCHER Chair Innovation In this project, I was directed

by my college teacher to make an innovation chair by combining two ideas into one. I decided to combine the idea of a dream catcher and a hanging chair. Before I made the design in SketchUp, I drew the concept manually with the top view, front view, side view, and perspective view. While making this innovative chair, I am thinking about making this chair not only for sitting, and having more function. So, I decided to add a power socket, mini table, tissue box, and I also added a hole beside the tissue box to put a drink.

AYUNDRA CAFE Design Interior I do this project with my teammate, Kenza. This project aims to make the interior design for Ayundra Buffet Café, and the requirements are attached to Sribu’s website. As the location is near to Unjani Campus, the costumer main target is the students there. Therefore, they need a simple-modern design with inexpensive materials to attract them. However, as this project is a 3D Modelling (Art Pathway) assignment, we can modify it.

The theoretical basis of our design is modern design. Modern design is a style used in the early mid-twentieth century while the world is developed because of technology and society. It is characterized by simplicity, natural materials, minimalism, monochromatic or neutral colour palette, and natural lighting.

GREEN PAO2 The Logo

The Main Project of Design Society In this course, I chose to make a brand inspired by a popular snack in our school, Bapao Ijo. In my opinion, Bapao ijo has a lot of potentials to become a better product with branding because the product is famous among the student and has good taste. Even though this project sound so simple, it turns out that making a brand for Bapao ijo takes work.

Before I start anything, I need to gather some opinions from UPH College students about what this product needs to include. After gathering the information, I finally started the design with the logo, food stand, packaging, and other marketing tools needed for this branding. After making everything that are needed for branding a product, finally in This project taught me how to set up an exhibition stand and present my design in front of a crowd. So, I’m very happy that I can participate in this class since I can learn a lot of new things. Here are some of my marketing tools for this project:

THE EXHIBITION OF DESIGN SOCIETY PROJECT

BATARI Background The reason the designer chose to start this project was the designer’s concern about the lack of knowledge of the Indonesian people about Indonesian culture, especially folklore. The designer sees that most children and adolescents aged 10-17 years need to become more familiar with Indonesian folklore and have no interest in knowing stories that have existed since the time of our ancestors. Folklore, a form of local wisdom, is full of advice and education, which is very useful for our young generation. In my opinion, folklore is the cultural wealth of the Indonesian nation that has existed since immemorial. So far, unfortunately, this wealth has only been buried within a limited community, such as in the memories of parents and storytellers in their environment.

Goal Therefore, to respond to problems the lack of knowledge of the Indonesian people about folklore, the designer decided to create a new learning tool: The creation of strategies, concepts, and designs of visual paper cut designs of Awang Sukma and Telaga Bidadari folklore for understanding Indonesian culture in children aged 10-17 years.

Benefit In the scientific

realm, this design can become an innovation for other designers in introducing Indonesian culture to the general public. For Indonesian children, this design is expected to help them remember Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage, appreciate Indonesian culture more, develop imagination skills through visuals, improve children’s cognitive abilities in responding to a story, and provide different learning tools than usual.

Playing with Light

Panning

Playing

Panning

with light is a project where I need to practice shutter speed, aperture, and ISO, which are the basic concept of photography to capture light amounts in a photo. From this project, I learned that there would be only a blank picture taken without lights.

in photography is a technique that combines a slow shutter speed with camera motion. This technique will create a sense of momentum around a moving object. For this project, I set the aperture to f/5.6, ISO to 200, and the shutter speed to 1/30 seconds. I also set the focal length at 35mm. In these photos that I took, I want to create a sense of speed around some cars driving through the Benton streets.

PERSPECTIVE Lighting Techniques I learned about the five fundamental portrait lighting techniques in this fifth project. The first one is Rembrandt lighting. This technique aims to create an inverted triangle of light on the shady side of your subject’s face. So, this lighting technique will be recognizable when the lighting leaves a triangle of light under the subject’s left eye.

The second one is split lighting. This technique will light half of the face and leave the rest in shadow. To make a split lighting portrait, all you need to do is place the light at a 90- degree angle from the subject. The third technique is broad lighting. This technique will give you plenty of shadows to play within your image. To create a broad lighting setup for portraits, you need to position your subject in front of the camera and angle their face to one side.     The fourth technique is paramount light or butterfly light. This lighting will form a shadow in the form of a triangle at the bottom of the nose. Other shadows created are under the eyes and neck. The last basic technique I learned in this project is loop light. Loop light is light that produces a kind of oval-shaped shadow under the nose.

This project is about the basic seven photography elements.

My

Photography Element

There are seven elements of photography: line, shape, form, texture, pattern, colour, and space. According to the information I got from vogueballroom.com.au, the seven basic elements of photography refer to how we set up our photos.

Product Photography last project in the photography for

design class is product photography. In this project, my college teacher assigned me to photograph some food or goodies products. So, I choose some snacks, a sling bag, a cookie, a drink and others

GACPLAN APPLICATION UI UX Project Gacplan

(Gacha Plan) is a scheduling application that includes planner and study features. It has come to our attention that many individuals are unable to manage their time effectively, consequently leading to decrease productivity. This issue has become more common due to pandemic, with student in particular experiencing a decline in productivity due to an increase in gadget use. To address this problem, we have created GacPlan as a solution. The objective of our design is to motivate user to use the application for education and work through to “Shin-Chan Gacha” avatar feature.

The logo features the shape of a gachapon, which is formed with the outline of the letter “G” in the Kelsi Typeface. We opted to use a combination of light yellow and red that adds a playful and energetic feel to the logo.
