Company Overview

Source 1 Solutions is an IT Managed Services Provider specializing in medium to large enterprise outsourced IT. We proactively manage, monitor, and maintain network devices, applications, and infrastructure to keep the technology used in business operations secure and reliable.

2018

Headquartered in Clearwater, Source 1 was founded in 2011 by Robert Hessel, a 4th generation military veteran who served in the US Navy. By prizing “relationships over deals”, a core company value, Source 1 had established a reputation among customers, clients, and partners for honesty, and integrity very quickly.

2019

In 2013 the company had obtained significant white label partnerships and ventured into monitoring services. Just two years later, managed services expanded greatly after onboarding senior company leaders rich in technology intelligence. In 2017 our dispatch field support team emerged and currently offers field resources in 118 countries. By assembling a world-class, elite engineering team that is anchored in a technically sophisticated Global Technical Support (GTS) center, which, by design, is adjacent to corporate headquarters, the company is able to deliver a quality of services that is unparalleled. All calls are answered live by level 1 engineers based in the United States, 24/7/365.

2020

Today, if it touches enterprise infrastructure, Source 1 Solutions manages, monitors, and maintains it. This award-winning, multinational MSP organization partners with enterprises ranging from multinational, Fortune 500 brands, to select Tampa-based leaders.

Safety, Data & Investment Assessments

Safety Assessment This assessment consists of a front load of information with our team of high-level personnel in collaboration with your team of high-level personnel. During this exercise, every possible area of technology will be examined by our Sr. Engineers and your designated Executive Sponsor. To prepare a successful long-term engagement, we must allow our elite team to search for vulnerabilities as we transfer service to our team.

Data Evaluation In conjunction with our overall assessment, we will determine your technology health through the use of our scorecards. Your scorecard ratings will identify areas that are low, moderate, or high risk for being vulnerable or faulty.

Investment Recommendations Once the assessment is complete, the evaluation of data will help us prioritize where to invest in improvements and how urgently those decisions may need to be addressed.

Field Support Engineers

Source 1 Solutions provides customers with on-site, field-support technology engineers. We have three ways to offer support, globally. In any case, a project manager manages customer expectations and oversees on-site personnel.

Full Time Engineer (FTE) Source 1 FTEs are deployed based on a customer’s predetermined need and timeline. FTE resources are on-site personnel assisting organizations whose focus may not be technology. Though all contracted personnel are Source 1 employees, they report to work daily at the customer’s location. Outside of day-to-day task management, we manage all responsibilities pertaining to human resources. For example, expenses including employment taxes, payroll, benefits, sick/vacation time, and 401k are taken care of by Source 1. Other benefits include: • Flexible contracts to adapt to your business needs. • Versatile skillsets to cover a wide range of troubleshooting. • Expert network to rely on internally.

Project Teams The assembly and deployment of our local project teams are based on a customer’s short-term needs. A few ways to utilize project teams are: • Technology deployment • Wireless survey • Infrastructure relocation. Our PMO team measures progress by collecting necessary details from the field team and working with the customer to ensure all milestones are sufficiently met.

Dispatch Source 1 Solutions has a 24/7/365 service desk that deploys resources to local sites on an “as needed” basis. This global service is offered with our service level agreements (SLA). Technical support is dispatched to resolve troubleshooting for the customer’s needs. Response times are met in conjunction with the SLA contract. Priority 1 thru 3 and next business day/second business day instances may be utilized, as determined by the urgency of the support need and contract parameters.

WLAN Surveys

Passive The passive survey method collects data about RF WITHOUT the software being associated with an access point SSID. In general terms, it collects and records all wireless RF broadcasting and heard by the client software. Various settings and filters can be applied that limit the amount of RF data collected. The Passive type survey is often used during RF assessments, Design Surveys, installations, and/or wireless troubleshooting.

Active Contrary to common perception, an Active Survey is NOT a design or “stick and pole” survey. It is another method or option of collecting data through Software (AirMagnet, Ekahau etc.). During an Active survey, the software connects to a specific access point or SSID, and only measures the chosen signal. No other Wireless, and for that matter, no other access point is measured. In addition, a separate server can be added to the network to obtain a true measure of the data rates achieved. The Active method of survey is often used to troubleshoot specific wireless issues during an assessment. It can also be used for other purposes such as design or validation, but the passive method is more flexible, and gives additional insight during the survey

Survey Options • Predictive Design • Greenfield Design • Hybrid Greenfield Design • Spectrum Analysis *Additional information available for each survey type, by request.
