Participate in business requirements and functional requirements gathering, which involves a review of existing systems configurations and operating methods as well as understanding evolving business needs. Provide support for business and functional acceptance testing which involves ensuring reviewing technical specifications to meet business requirements. 20 percent of Ramesh Venkatesan’s time will be business requirements and functional requirements gathering, and 10 percent of his time providing support for business and functional acceptance testing. Configuring the E-Business Suite Supply Chain applications to meet client business needs, capture the Business requirement, mapping the requirement in Oracle ERP, execute a FIT -GAP analysis and detail the TO- BE solutions for Oracle supply chain modules-10 percent of his time will be spent on this activity Support and maintenance of Planning Applications, which included but not limited to providing resolution on time for major incidents to meet Service levels and implement technical changes to the applications. Responsible for handling ad-hoc reporting needs to supplement Key executives supply chain planning meetings-10 percent of his time will be will be spent on this activity Coordinate business and functional acceptance testing which involves ensuring technical specifications meet business requirements. This duty involves Cognizant's CTDM (Test Data Management Architecture) which facilitates test data generation through automation and simplifies data uploading and reporting. The architecture encourages the reusability of test data for testing in distributed environments and improves project manageability by mitigating confusion caused due to the creation of different test data in multiple environments.10 percent of his time will be dedicated to this activity Responsible for daily and weekly status reports to update business teams and project managers involved in difference aspects of the customized solution to make sure agreed upon customized software solutions are timely delivered while also recommending changes to ensure optimum efficiency through technology innovations. 10 percent of his time will be dedicated to this activity Train business users and enable them as a strategic user in regard to Oracle ERP, he will be spending 5 percent towards this task
