Surfin’ Donuts & Grill Project Management + Procreate + Adobe Illustrator + Instagram

This series was part of an project with a company called Surfin’ Donuts & Grill. The series was for media posts on instagram and specific CTA’s outlined by the client. The client wanted media posts calling to action that they are open at 50% capacity and that they are more than a donut shop. The client provided photos of the dishes they offer and as a team of five, we each created posts for the client.

Papa’s Polvoron Project Management + Procreate + Adobe Illustrator

This project created media posts for a local small business called Papa’s Polvoron. The owner wanted to draw attention to their weekly and monthly events. The media posts for Instagram included event highlights and templates that could be used for their stories.

Beta Bros Rock Climbing Magazine Procreate + Photography + Adobe Indesign + Mockup

The Beta Bros magazine is a rock climbing magazine geared towards newer climbers. The magazine highlights basic fundamentals a new climber should know. Beta Bros gives helpful instruction, tips, and tricks to put new climbers on a good path to become the best climber and self they can be. The design of the front and back utilizes photos taken out in the field. A combination of filters and illustrations were used to create the collage cover and back. Inspiration was taken from various existing mags such as Rock & Ice and Outside.

Climate Change Posters Poster Design Procreate + Adobe Illustrator + Adobe Photoshop

This project focused on creating posters about climate change. The concept was to use accurate articles as the focal point, take quotes from the articles, and present them as the main subject of the poster. Each poster is primarily black and white with one strip of color in the center, around the main quote, so the main issue pops out more.

Happy Hands Package Design Procreate + Adobe Illustrator + Speedball/Stamp + Print Media

The idea for Happy Hands came from the current state of the pandemic and addressing the issue of hand-washing. Happy Hands is a hand-washing kit that includes a bar of soap, a hand towel, and hand lotion. The logo imitates the action of the object it is placed on while the overall logo has the underlying clapping gesture. A speedball stamp was created to create the leaf decorations along the packaging. Each element of the packaging was printed, fitted, and hand cut.

This project called for designing a book cover and book jacket design for an existing book series. My designs are for the Oz series by L. Frank Baum. I approached the project with minimalism and utilized textures with different paper forms. The project consisted of significant amounts of manual paper cutting and gluing.

Environmental Design: Brewery Environmental Design: Brewery Procreate + Photography + Adobe Indesign + Adobe Photoshop + Mockup This project focused on applying designs to an existing venue or location as a means of advertising. For the designs, I used labels I illustrated as the subject matter. I applied the designs as murals, framed art, monitor displays, and as t-shirt mock-ups.

Boo Brews Hail Hazelnut Procreate + Adobe Illustrator + Adobe Photoshop +Mockup

Boo Brews: Hail Hazelnut is part of a 30 Day Project that revolves around can label designs. The theme is Halloween and spooky themes. Each can label design also focuses on a type of beer. This particular beer label is based on a stout beer that is flavored with hazelnut.

Another component to the 30 Day project beer label design. For this mini series in the 30 Day Project, I chose to highlight folklore creatures in the Filipino culture as part of Filipino American History Month. This label design is based on the Pugot, a headless, black, figure in Filipino folklore. This lager is flavored with biko, a sticky, rice and coconut dessert.
