I thank you all for the stupendous support, extended by each one of you during my journey as a National President 2022. It was a wonderful experience to have lead a great organization as a National President. And that all have been possible only with your love and support. JCI India Zone V MEMBERS WELFARE FUND JJCI India Members Welfare Fund is a social security scheme for the families of the active Members (who are below 40 years in age) of JCI India in the unfortunate event of loss of life of any active members in the year 2023.

Salient Features 1. Every JCI India member contributes Rs.500 to the Welfare Fund each year through their Subscription. Membership 2. The family/nominee of any JCI India Active Member whose name is in the Membership Subscription List of JCI India for the year 2023 and has not completed 40 years in age on 1st January 2023, is eligible to make a claim for the deceased Member in that year. 3. If he/she was an Active Member from 2022 and continued in 2023, their family is eligible for support from the Welfare Fund. 4. If the deceased is a new member joined (or re-joined) in the year 2023, the scheme will be applicable only after 60 days after receipt of membership list after payment of subscription or updation in the portal. If a Family of a new member joined this year raise the claim, due to the death of the new member, the eligibility will be decided after an enquiry about the bona des of the claim. 5. The maximum amount of support will be Rs 50 x JCI India total active membership as on 30th June.

Accidental Death 6. On receipt of any claim with the proper documents, it will be considered by the next NEC meeting and NEC will releaserelease Rs 15, 00,000 as interim support to the bereaved familie 7. The Pre-Natcon NEC will decide on the nal claim amount considering the total applications received and the amount available in the fund and will sanction the balance amounts. 8. If any Active Member of JCI India in 2022 gets graduated as SMA Member in 2023, then they will also be covered under the Welfare Fund, until he/she reaches the age of 50 yrs, if they join in SMA without any disconnection. They should also pay, welfare fund contribution in addition to SMA Subscription 9. Welfare fund support will not be applicable for suicidal death. No claim shall be entertained for suicidal death.

Hospitalisation Death 10. Death due to hospitalisation due to some disease is covered under the scheme but the amount of support will vary based on the following conditions: (a) If the member get hospitalised and die in the same year of joining then he will be eligible for a total Rs 5 Lakhs support. (b) If the member get hospitalised and dies in the 2nd year he or she will be eligible for a support of Rs 10,00,000. (c) If the member get hospitalised & dies on the 3rd year or later he is eligible for a maximum of Rs 50 per member as on 30th June. (d) In any case the decision of NEC is nal
