"Strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle." Life is beautiful but not always easy. It has problems too, and the challenge lies in facing them with courage. For our students, it has been a continuous struggle since last two months be in studies through exams or be in activities through various events and competitions. The third edition of Santa Marian Times showcases a few glimpses of our students' actions and efforts to experience happiness and sadness, victory and defeat just like two sides of the coin. .

Award for Poster Making Competition
As part of anti drugs activities, St. Mary's College, Manarcadu conducted a poster making competition. Our student, Nora Mathew, of class XII won the second prize. She was awarded with a cash prize of 2001 rupees. Congratulations Nora.
Students of Santa Maria Public School and Junior College had a busy, enriching and enlightening day when everyone assembled for CRYSTAL '22 (INTER HOUSE SCIENCE AND MATHS EXHIBITION AT THE CULTURAL CENTRE) on the 1st November 2022. Children competed category wise in making Working Models, Still Models, Collections and Art & Craft.

WINNERS
Kottyam Sahodaya Volleyball Tournament was conducted in our school on Saturday, the 5th November, 2022 and our school teams have made the entire school proud by winning the Boys ' and Girls' trophies.
Children 's Day was celebrated with an anti drugs rally and a short programme in front of the village panchayat. Children moved in line shouting slogans and carried placards. The beautifully presented programme was inaugurated by the Panchayat President and it sent out a clear message against the use of drugs to the public as well as to the students.
Santa Maria Public School and Junior College organized its Annual Sports Meet 2022-2023 on Friday,November 18th, 2022. The pleasant day was an excellent occasion for our children to cultivate the quality of sportsmanship among them.
