Haworth Shop Drawing Your Haworth Modular Walls and Casework Mock-up.

Welcome, and thank you for taking

the time to visit and review our mock-up!

This

mock-up is the culmination of intensive design collaboration efforts between Haworth, PeopleSpace, and Stanford Healthcare over the course of almost two years!

We feel that

together, we have created a working blueprint from which we can move forward and successfully execute and realize the Stanford Healthcare vision of modular interior construction.

We are excited to receive your

feedback and are looking forward to continuing on this path together.

Enclose Modular Casework Designed and built to meet strict Standard Healthcare specifications, this casework is prebuilt at the Haworth factory and shipped complete and ready to install.

The casework is

designed to be fully integrated and supported by our Enclose demountable wall system but can also be moved and hung on conventional drywall using a specially designed universal mounting cleat.

The modularity of the

integrated casework and walls will provide SHC with a minimal and manageable “kit of parts,” making future moves/adds/changes highly efficient with minimal disruption and zero waste.

This casework will all be backed by

Haworth’s industry leading warranty.

Integration of Vacu-Plumbing The 4” thick Enclose panel allows ample room for pre-installed plumbing, voice and data conduit, and acoustical installation. Quick and easy access to the interior cavity by removing of panel tiles makes maintenance or changes to the system efficient, while the tiles remain unscathed and re-usable.

Electrical and low-voltage cabling conduit and ports are included in our system and arrive pre-built from the factory.

Removable and field-cuttable

panel tiles (“skins”) allow easy access to electrical, data cabling, and Acorn vacuplumbing components.

This makes initial

installation and day-2 reconfiguration work much more efficient, less disruptive, and much cleaner.

Electrical & Data Integration

Mock-up Features and Benefits

Custom Designed Base Plate for Rubber Cove Base Application – V2.0 This revised design of our base cover plate allows for modular rubber base cove integration with our system, while allowing full access to the metal tile and panel cavity above.

It successfully addresses two

issues with our current design, and it has a cleaner design aesthetic. 1. The ability to remove the steel tiles and access the panel cavity without disruption to the cove base below. 2. Better detail at the termination of rubber cove base at a door frame which will eliminate the undesirable exposed edge.

Metal Tile Available in a multitude of standard colors as well as custom colors these tiles can be both smooth or textured. Metal tiles maximize acoustical performance while maintaining the cleanability and infection control requirements.

Vinyl Tile Anti-microbial finish material designed specifically for use in in a healthcare facility, this tile can be wiped clean with EPA Certified Health Care Cleaning Chemicals.

Available in dozens of patterns,

solids, and colorways. .

Provides an excellent write-on/wipe-off surface finish option for collaboration with colleagues and patients. There is a backpainted glass version which can also be magnetic!

Laminate Marker-Board Tile

Mock-up Features and Benefits

Glass Sidelight Allows for daylight and views throughout the space creating comfort and wellbeing for both patients and users. Unlimited options for this panel include clear, frosted or opaque glass, or multiple applications of field-applied film.

Metal-Glazed and High-Pressure Wood-Laminate Doors Metal Framed Glazed Door with soft close mechanism and adjustable plinth. The architectural 18” bar pull allows for ease of opening and closing. Meets local codes as well as ADA standards. Wood-Laminate in a multitude of finish options, including SHC standard laminate, with a built-in soft close mechanism and an adjustable plinth for added acoustic performance. Solid core construction with a single-action egress locking mechanism to meet ADA standards.

Slotted Wall Connections Enclose panel connections’ “slotted standards” provide metal-to-metal structural support for Haworth’s specially developed Stanford Healthcare universal mounting bracket, which will support Haworth casework, or casework built by others, as well as SHC, provided medical equipment and accessories. This will maximize flexibility for day-2 reconfigurations, while preventing the damage of the panel tiles thus reducing longterm cost of ownership.

Specifically designed and developed for Stanford Healthcare, these covers increase system cleanability and infection control by closing the vertical and horizontal gaps between panel tiles.
