The Region Stobi vineyards have been home to ancient shrines for many centuries and the cellars used to mature the wine is surrounded by the remnants of the archaeological site which is considered by many to be the most famous in the Republic of Macedonia – the ancient civilization of Stobi. Stobi winery is located only 80 km from the capital of Skopje, in the heart of Macedonia, in the Tikves wine region – the biggest and the most important wine region which stretches on 10.000 ha, along the same latitude as Rioja and Ribera del Duero. As the Mediterranean climate from the south collides with the continental climate from the north, it creates an area most remarkable for grape growing and wine production on the entire Balkan Peninsula.

Our winery Knowledge and experience have been handed down through the generations and combined with the latest technology and passion to create the best wines. The Stobi Winery is equipped with the most modern fully automated systems, from Italy and Germany and the bottling line operates with a capacity of 5,000 bottles per hour and can work with five bottle formats, maintaining and preserving the quality of the grapes and wine until the very end. The majestic barrique room covers an are of 700m it has the capacity to mature 300,000litres of wine and houses barrels made from the highest quality French, Italian< Slovenian and American oak. Private Reserve Private Reserve line is produced from unique micro localities and consists of different single variety wines and blends, made in a manner that expresses their varietal character and maximises ageing potential. Grapes are hand-picked berry by berry and made by a process of microvinification. Wines are aged in barrel cellar with the aim of creation structured, full bodied and complex wines with ageing potential, but most importantly to highlight the impeccable aromas and flavours of each variety.
