2023 Patient Education & Support Candidates Rian Fuller
Rian Fuller is an ambitious student at D’Evelyn Jr/Sr Highschool. Rian is highly involved within her school and loves to find ways to bring her passions to the classroom. She is in both National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society and plays for her schools volleyball team. When she’s not doing homework, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, playing with her dogs and going to school sporting events. On weekends she loves to explore the Colorado outdoors and especially loves to ski and mountain bike. Rian decided to participate in the Student Visionaries of The Year program because she wanted to help reduce the amount of people and their families that are struggling through a cancer diagnosis. She has never had a family member be affected by cancer and she wants her story to be the norm. She wants to live in world where more people can say they have never had to watch a loved one suffer through a cancer diagnosis. She wants to live in a cancer free world.

Pearly McGoldrick
Antonia Schneider
Pearly McGoldrick is an ambitious student at Regis Jesuit. Pearly is part of various clubs such as Girl Up and Special Olympics. On weekends, when Pearly is not busy with extracurriculars, she enjoys skiing, hiking and hanging out with her friends and family. Pearly decided to participate in the Student Visionaries of the Year program to give back to her community and support a cause that is near to her heart.
Antonia Schneider is a 16-year-old currently attending East High School. She was introduced to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through a friend who was a candidate last year. At first, she didn’t know about the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. After meeting with the teen director and hearing what LLS was about, she felt compelled to help as much as she could. Her grandfather died of lung cancer before she could even meet him. Her mom was always talking about how alike Antonia and her grandfather are. Even though she has never met him, his absence has impacted her life all the same. One of the perks to LLS is that you get to meet heroes of leukemia and lymphoma. She met last year’s Honored Hero as well as her father. After treatment, the Honored Hero was able to continue having a normal teenage life. Yet the father still seemed affected by the experience. LLS is an up-lifting organization that helps anchor patients and parents after a cancer diagnosis. Even though she does not have any personal connection to leukemia or lymphoma, she wanted to help parents and family members go through deep water. That is why she decided that she wanted to be able to help and educate patients and their families, with the patient support mission pillar.
