Angel Paws, Therapy Dogs Angel Paws is a non-profit organisation (NPO 265-856) & rely on the kindness of cash donations for their running costs. We have formed an exciting new partnership with Angel Paws, where they will visit our facility monthly with their therapy dogs, to provide therapeutic benefits for our patients. With the partial donations from Nurture Ilembe, Angel Paws, Therapy Dogs were able to make their first information brochure.

Haven of Rest, Tongaat – August 2022 Haven of Rest August Dropoff The team of Nurture Ilembe visited Haven of Rest for our August Donation Drive Community Outreach Project. The team checked the elderly’s vitals (BP and glucose). A training and information session with the carers regarding physical and psychological handling of patients was held. Our maintenance team did an assessment of their maintenance needs. Grooming activities with the ladies: nail care and nail painting. Donated clothing items, toiletries, non perishable food, household appliances. The day ended with us giving them a treat of snacks and goodies. “Only by giving are you able to receive more than you already have” - John Rohn

THE RPM’S AT NURTURE AND TPM’S AT MONDIA Jorita Venter RPM Aurora What I value the most: My quality time with my family How do I spend my free time: Being a working mom of three, free time is a luxury. I enjoy a good movie (with popcorn) and to listen to music while singing and dancing, like no-one is watching. Why do you work at Aurora? Aurora was my first job, fresh out of comserve. I have started here as a clueless OT with no experience and now I am in an RPM role (still feeling clueless some days). I feel the nature of my temperament makes me a good fit for this type of environment. I love people – to see them grow and learn while they become the best version of themselves gives me joy. Aurora will always have a special place in my heart, and I have a passion for rehabilitation. Get to know THE RPM/TPM Monique Nienaber Therapy Program Manager Who am I? I was born in Bloemfontein, went to primary & high school in Bloemfontein. I am married and we have 1 child (baby girl). I studied social work at UOFS and I have been employed at Mondia Woodlands since 2014. It is a huge privilige for me to be part of the Mondia family. Fun Fact I am married to an “adrenalin junkie” that loves speed. We often spend our weekends at the oval track raceway in Bloemfontein Interesting Fact I started at Mondia Woodlands as the ward secretary for nursing & therapy & as the hospital grew, I got a position as a social worker. March 2021 I was appointed as the therapy programme manager at Mondia Woodlands. THANK YOU MONDIA for believing in me & giving me the opportunity to learn & to grow on all different levels.

THE FINANCE TEAM AT HAVEN HEALTH MANAGEMENT Thishania Naidoo Junior Acountant Something about myself: I followed my passion in Finance and obtained my degree in the year of 2017. I was fortunate enough to meet my best friend during my studies, with whom I married during the Covid 19 pandemic. I love traveling, meeting new people, and exploring different cultures and religions. When at home, I like watching series, relaxing and experimenting in the kitchen. Something interesting/funny: I have a couple of tattoos and would love a few more. Most people are shocked when they find out as they feel I’m a reserved type of person. What are your phobias? Anything that crawls or flies lol especially moths and cockroaches Name one thing on your bucket list? To swim with the dolphins, it’s been my forever dream and number one on my bucket list. Get to know THE FINANCE TEAM Tishana Calder Creditors Administrator Something about myself: I was born and raised in Bulawayo (Zimbabwe), moved to PE in 2009. Family means the world to me, and I am a huge animal lover. Something funny: When people first meet me they think I am quiet until they get to know me and find out how crazy I can actually be. What are your phobias? Heighest, frogs, lizards and snakes Name one thing on your bucket list? Moving to the Greek Islands
