Parish Town Hall and Financial Update Have you ever: • • • • • • • • • • •
Wanted to peek into the Parish checking account? Wondered how many FT/PT staff it takes to run a parish the size of St. Brendan’s? Wondered what it costs to provide music at our liturgical celebrations throughout the year? Wondered what it takes to cool and heat the church? Thought about the number of sacraments performed in a year’s time? Wondered how the Archdiocese pays its bills and generates funding for their ministry work? Wondered what the average parishioner contribution is over a year’s time? Wondered if our Preschool makes a profit? Wondered why the cost of FF tuition seems so high? Wondered how we would go about adding meeting space or sacred space on campus? And when? Wondered how a ministry is funded?
Here’s your chance to ask! Attend the upcoming Financial Town Hall to be held on th Sunday, September 28 , from 3:00 to 4:30 PM in the church—right before the 5PM Mass. The primary focus of this meeting is to reveal the financial state of the parish, with a secondary purpose to hear Father Matthew’s vision for living out our mission of “Go, Baptize and Teach” here at the parish. Father’s vision includes an update on facility needs in the next couple of years, with ideas on what it might look like. The meetings are intended to be a presentation followed by open Q and A. Experts will be on hand from the parish staff, the Finance Council, the Stewardship Council and the Pastoral Council. Don’t miss out on this important opportunity to learn and get involved in your parish.
Come join us at the back of the property! You can’t miss it! St. Brendan’s will be hopping with love and fun while the nearly 70 different ministries and local organizations show how they serve the Lord with their time and talent. Lots of great reasonably priced food; hamburgers, hotdogs, brats, pizza, homemade Latino entrees, cotton candy, shaved ice and more. Plus games, live music, entertainment with a moonwalk, spinner ride, bouncy run, ring toss and more that will be sure to bring lots of fellowship and fun for everyone. Plus a Silent Auction with a cabin getaway, religious statues, family night baskets and more. . Lots of freebies throughout the entire carnival. We welcome you and look forward to seeing you.
