‘JUST BREATHE’ SUPPORT GROUP

Just Breathe is a community support group within Tree Tops that was created out of necessity because support groups seem to be scarce. It is for anyone who cares for a family member or friend, regardless of the illness they have (dementia, cancer, PTSD, addiction, etc). The purpose is to have a monthly forum in which to speak, share, listen, find understanding and compassion and learn new tips and strategies to cope with a very different reality from the one you had previously known. We have a wonderful retired director of geriatric nursing that attends the meetings and offers her expertise and guidance. We would certainly welcome any retired therapists, social workers, medical professionals, etc. that are interested in volunteering their time. This is a long road for many of us but it will be more manageable if we travel it together. Please contact Sue Peverelle at [email protected] to learn more information about joining this group.

LINE DANCING CLUB Are you interested in joining the Tree Tops Line Dance Club? Membership is free. Men and women are welcome. The Line Dancing Club meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month in 2024! Beginner times are 1:00-1:30pm. Learn Electric Slide and Cupid Shuffle. For those who already know how to line dance: 1:30-2:30pm. Everyone is welcome to participate in the entire session.
