We’ll accept and assess your donated vehicle – in any condition – and complete necessary repairs before matching it with a WNC family in need of safe and reliable transportation. Any vehicle that cannot be repaired will be used as a parts donor to refurbish other cars in our program or sold at wholesale value with all proceeds going toward our mission. Vehicle Donor Pathway 1 Locate your vehicle title. Can't find it? We can help! 2 Fill out our online Vehicle Donation Form or call (828) 633-6888. We will contact you within two business days to make a plan 3 to sign over your title and transport your vehicle. 4 Vehicle not running? No problem! We'll pick it up! 5 Turn in your license plate to a DMV tag office. 6 Cancel the insurance on your vehicle. Your official tax documents will be sent 10-12 weeks after your donation. 7 EASY Working Wheels makes car donation simple. We accept vehicles in any condition – all are useful and help provide affordable, reliable transportation for working families. We’ll guide you through the process and even tow your car for free! LOCAL We partner with local nonprofit organizations who refer their clients in need of reliable transportation. Your donation will support the good work of Habitat for Humanity, ABCCM, OnTrack, Pisgah Legal Services, Helpmate, the YWCA, and many more. TAX-DEDUCTIBLE You may be eligible to deduct up to the full retail value of your donated vehicle, depending on its use in our program. We provide all the documents you need.
