Xero now integrates with the ATO for automated superannuation payments and reporting to make your life as a business owner even easier.

Chasing unpaid debts and accounts receivables is one of the most time wasting tasks for a female entrepreneur. Here are Doers Finance, we love implementing automated invoice reminders to chase our client’s funds automatically.

The founders decided there must be a better way to track business expenses and share them with your accountant. 150 million receipts, bills and bank statements later, Receipt Bank now allows business owners to submit their receipts by taking quick photos on their phones and automatically assigning them to different categories. This makes receipt collecting FAST to stay ATO compliant, and saves you hours in reconciling your books each week.

Each quarter, you are required to run the superannuation report and with Xero, this can be done in less than 15 seconds as it reviews your payroll over the quarter and figures out exactly how much each staff member is owed. BANK RULES

As a busy entrepreneur, you need to be able to quickly get financial information about your business and make decisions that will help you invest wisely and grow.

If you deal with cash transactions or don’t enter all transactions in Xero before you import bank statements, set up bank rules. Bank rules are a quicker and easier way to reconcile imported bank statements.

The two most important reports you should be checking weekly can be displayed easily on your dashboard for a quick health check of the business. These reports are your Profit and Loss Statement and your Cash Flow report.

You set up the rules to match your imported statement lines. After you import a bank statement and go to reconcile your account, your rules run. For each bank transaction that matches a rule, Xero creates a transaction based on the rules you’ve set.

With the click of a few buttons, your reports can be displayed on your dashboard with actual dollar amounts, line graphs or pie charts so you can get a visual representation of what’s happening and confidently make decisions for growth!

If the transaction Xero creates based on the rule is wrong, you can edit it, create a new one or find a transaction you’ve already entered into Xero to match with your statement line. It’s powerful, and saves hours.
