About Us Xenios USA® was established in 2009 in New York, thanks to the great passion for Fitness of its founders, a team of technicians based in New York (USA) and San Marino (EU). Those were the years when the sport of CrossFit®* began to spread all over the world. The brand was created with the goal of designing, producing and offering all operators of the new fitness, coaches and athletes, equipment designed and built “in series” to be safe, functional, versatile, and, above all, ready to meet the needs of those who teach or practice Strength & Conditioning activities, such as Cross Training, Functional Fitness, Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Strongman and similar sports. Even today the team here at Xenios USA® is motivated by their passion for their products. All of the equipment of the Field Gym can be literally put back inside of the Container. This allows the availability of an entire set of equipment, which while its being used will be around the Container, and in the evening, it can be neatly and securely put away inside of the same container.

Although each unit can be customized without any limits, the Xenios USA® team, supported by our partner coaches, athletes, and box owners, has created six typical models, based on the most widespread needs and requests.

Thanks to the extensive experience in designing training areas adapted to satisfy the various needs of clients, the Xenios USA® Research and Development team created a revolutionary project: “The Field Gym™”. The Field Gym™ was created to offer the market a fully-equipped training structure, deployable anywhere, characterized by extreme rationalization of the equipment and storage included, both internally and externally.

The advantages that this solution presents are infinite, but just to name a few: • Safety that only an outdoor training can offer. • Optimization of your initial investment, and, therefore, reduction of business risk. • Many personalization possibilities, even after the first installation. • To offer a true “within reach” service to clients, wherever they’re located. • Installation in exclusive locations, that can be indispensable for permanent installations. • Easy dismantling, transport, and storing if used seasonally or for temporary demands. • Reduction of bureaucracy and authorizations, that only a temporary installation allows. • Reduction of management costs like those of common utilities that are practically nonexistent for installing a Field Gym. • Reduction of rent costs or purchasing land and/or buildings. A field Gym can be installed even in public, with an occupation cost that’s extremely manageable. • Exponential increase in a “catchment” area, as in the case of installation in a tourist zone. There could be many occasional customers, out of town for vacation or work, that don’t want to stop working out. The applications of a Field Gym can be infinite. They can be used as a training structure for the army, special forces, police or firefighters, just like it can become a temporary gym installed on the beach or in a park or in any tourist place. The Field Gym can also become a definitive gym that can be installed near real estate structures than don’t have enough indoor space to put in a true gym: schools, hotels, barracks, training centers for sports teams.

The Field Gym™ project takes advantage of the infinite possibilities of personalization that a merchandise transportation container/box has to offer, which, thanks to their ISO-standard construction specifications are perfect for being transported and installed practically anywhere. Every Field Gym is on the inside and around a Container from 10, 20, or 40 feet (10’, 20’, 40’). The Containers for merchandise transportation are built to resist even the most intense weather elements, while still keeping its dimensions and weight as minimal 6

The demands that this equipment has to meet in these special units are different from those that come with traditional indoor or outdoor training spaces. In the case of the Field Gym, you have to combine versatility, money-saving, and space efficiency, ease of mounting, possibility of storing every piece of equipment inside of the Container and, the necessity to close it completely when not in use. To sum it up: you need efficiency. Every single centimeter of the Container of the Field Gym has to be used to the max; this is why we’ve studied systems of functional and space-saving storage, like racks mounted on the internal sides of each door of the container. To make every Field Gym customizable based on the specific needs of the client, the Research and Development department created a system of internal predispositions inside of the Container, completely optimizable. The standardization of the predispositions offers the customer the security of having a customized product, that still consists of a system built “in a series”, so it’s been tested, is safe, and ready to be produced and installed in an extremely short amount of time. The Field Gym can be completed with the necessary equipment for its purpose of use, whatever that may be. The pre-set-up units from Xenios USA® are equipped with the fundamental equipment for every workout, like barbells, bumpers, dumbbells, wall balls, med balls, sand bags, etc. Nonetheless, every set of equipment can be completely integrated based on the specific needs of the client.

The Xenios USA® Field Gym™ is completely equipped before it’s transported to the client and this is why it can be considered a ready-to-use unit. Every Field Gym is built and equipped so that a certain number of people can train at the same time; it can become a unit for personal or group training and can be set up and designed for any type of discipline: Cross Training, Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Functional Fitness and so on.

The environment intended to install a Field Gym is certainly outdoors; all of the equipment in steel, like the Racks, Rig, storage units, are built with hot galvanized sections and then painted with epoxy powder to combat any atmospheric problems. For more intense conditions, the external Racks and Rigs can be built in stainless steel that’s resistant to corrosion for practically forever.

Every Field Gym can be equipped with a cardio unit, that can be used inside of the Container, and also on the outside. Upon request, a shockproof flooring can also be provided, which is ideal to create a training zone around the Container that’s comfortable and safe for clients during their training sessions. The XFloor™ floorings from Xenios USA® are extremely durable indoors, and they’re also available in outdoor versions that are capable of efficiently draining rainwater. The external structural elements of the Field Gym, to which Rig and/or Racks are mounted to the Container in a way that occupies the least amount of space possible and doesn’t give any stability problems, especially on terrains that aren’t perfectly level. In fact, the Rig and/or Rack structures are provided in the “container-mounted” version in order to guarantee maximum stability even where it’s not possible to mount the container in a fixed manner to the ground. Some models of the Field Gym are created using a special Container “open side”, equipped not just with the standard door on the back of the container, but also with an ample opening on the side. This allows our designers to create extractable Rack structures that can be taken from the inside to the outside of the Container, and are easily closeable. Every Field Gym is equipped with Storage and/or Rack stations, engineered in a specific way by our technical team. As a result, this an Xenios USA® exclusive product.

International ISO Standards Safety First! At Xenios USA®, we always work with certified safety in mind, even for the Field Gym. The Containers are all completely new and unused, that have perfect structural characteristics, an aspect that wouldn’t be guaranteed with containers that have been used for many years, for who knows what uses or circumstances. Every Container, once worked and transformed into a Field Gym, undergoes a new UNI-ISO certification to be authorized for transport by land or sea. All of the Rig and Rack structures inside and outside of the Field Gym are UNI-ISO EN20957 certified; moreover, in the case that the Field Gym has to be installed in an area with free access to the public, it’s certified according to the rigid norms in place for the safety of public training equipment installed in public places, for example, the UNI-ISO EN16630.

Built to Last The Field Gym™: a project that deserves special characteristics.

Resistance to atmospheric agents All versions of the Xenios USA® Field gym are designed and built to be installed outdoors. The Containers used are treated, both internally and externally, with a special Chloro Caoutchouc paint, that guarantees protection from salt corrosion, wind, and the effects of extreme weather for up to twenty years. The Xenios USA® XRIG™ structures, if applied on the exterior of the Container, are built with hot, galvanized steel profiles before being coated with epoxy powder. In the case of special applications, stainless steel can be used. All of the hardware is in stainless steel. Each hole present on the container is sealed with removable silicone caps in order to avoid any water infiltration.

Training without limits The Field Gyms are ideal to create outdoor training areas on any surface and terrain, for both temporary and permanent use. The Containers used respect the ISO standard norm for transports by truck or boat and, even when structurally modified to meet the specific needs of clients, they are re-certified to be suitable again for transportation by road or sea.

Field Gyms are the definitive solution to transport anywhere, and install in any condition, temporary training areas in both urban contexts or for exceptional uses, such as the army, police, or any type of special forces. They’re an all-inone solution that can be installed, made operative and dismantled in a completely standardized way.

The pre-equipped solutions from Xenios USA® are just some examples of possible compositions. Thanks to the incredible versatility and experience of our design team, every client can create their own Field Gym according to their personal and specific needs. Just like a tailored suit. Beyond just having the opportunity to integrate the supplied equipment, it’s also possible to customize the dimensions, as well as the service equipment: internal lighting systems can be created, air conditioning and/or filtering systems can be installed, doors added, shutters or windows. Insultation solutions can be adopted in order to reduce the impact of rigid outside temperatures. It’s possible to create units that combine training functions with storage ones, or units with the sole purpose of training indoor, or even more, units with the sole function of equipment storage.

The Field Gym solutions are always equipped with a complete training equipment kit, that includes everything necessary for group training and is variable depending on the size of the chosen Field Gym.

Among the optional services offered with the Field Gym, it’s possible to opt also for transport, via land or sea, and unloading with a crane on-site, anywhere in the world. Xenios USA® is also able to offer an on-site installation service, through which our team of technicians can assemble the external XRIG™ structures and place the rubber flooring in the area that will be used for training.

Safety first All of the equipment supplied with the Field Gyms is built in compliance with the UNI ISO EN-20957 safety standards. If it has to be used in outdoor spaces open to the public, it’s also in compliance with the UNI ISO EN16630 safety standard. The Xenios USA® Field Gyms are designed to make the storage of equipment inside of the Container extremely easy and its closure safe when not in use.

The Cardio Dock model is the Field Gym dedicated to those who want to install a mini external training complex, and therefore, have a dedicated hub to cardio training. The Container used is the “open side” model, so it can be completely opened on one of its long sides. This allows the insertion of 4/5 cardio units that can be used outside but also inside of the same Container in the case of adverse weather conditions. The doors of the Container are equipped on the internal side with two Foldable Up&Down Racks from Xenios USA® so that you can have in addition to the cardio stations, also two power rack stations. As with all of the other Field Gyms, even with this model the doors of the Container can be further equipped with racks for storage for resistance loops, mats, barbells, etc. On the outside of the Field Gym Cardio Dock, Rig and Racks can be installed upon request.

The Field Gym Training Hub was the first version that was designed and implemented by Xenios USA®. It’s the most efficient and versatile multi-purpose solution, designed to create a training area for 10/12 people and truly ready for everything. The versatility offered by the model of the “open side” Container allows its installation and use in any situation. This Field Gym, studied specifically for special forces when they’re busy outside of the city, was equipped with extractable Rack stations that, once they’re put back inside of the Container, allow the complete closure of it without limiting the amount of internal space. In addition to all of the necessary equipment, the Training Hub can also contain 4 cardio units, easily movable outside of the container every time it needs to be used. Every door of the Training Hub has been equipped with storage racks to store resistance bands, mats, barbells, etc. On the door of the long side of the Container there are two Foldable Up&Down Racks from Xenios USA® in order to increase the number of power rack stations designed to strengthen muscles.
