JANUARY 15, 2023 CLASSIC WORSHIP | 8:45 & 10:00 A.M.
THE GIFT OF WISDOM JAMES 1:1-8 REV. CHARLIE WILFONG
We’ve all heard and repeated those short sayings that distill good thinking on basic life lessons. “A penny saved is a penny earned” and the like. These proverbs are instructive and helpful but often self-evident. What about some real information? Should I take that new job? How should I respond to that difficult family member or co-worker? Why doesn’t life come with all the information we need to have? Surely God has it all. Yes, wisdom and discernment are available for life’s current challenges. But, like even the highest-ranking operatives in any organization, we’re on a “need to know” basis. And God would like some personal consultation time with you, too.
