IMPERFECTION

ACTS 9:1-9, 17-19 REV. HANNAH WISWASSER In the movie “Encanto,” Isabella is the golden child. She is perfect, much to Mirabel’s dismay. It’s hard to be around someone who seems perfect all the time. It makes us feel unworthy and frustrated. Thankfully, God doesn’t require us to be the perfect golden child. We can come to God how we are, with all our mess, and we’re still worthy. We can even do some pretty rotten things, and God will still welcome us with open arms.
