Each year, Manitoba Liquor Marts bring in select items to be included in our Premium Spirit Release. A number of these items are highly sought after and only available in small quantities. — From October 11-23, customers can enter online for a chance to purchase one of the items from our Fine & Rare Exclusive Spirit Collection. One entry per product, per name and email address. You may select multiple products in the online entry form for a chance to purchase, but will only be awarded one opportunity. If your name is drawn for more than one product, you will be awarded the first one your name is drawn for. Identified multiple entries for the same product will be disqualified. Open to Manitoba residents only. Draw date is Monday, October 24th. Winners will be notified by email within one week of the draw date and winners have 48 hours to respond and confirm acceptance of the awarded opportunity to purchase. Check your junk or spam folders regularly in case your notification email ends up there. Product must be purchased at the Grant Park Liquor Mart in Winnipeg or the 10th & Victoria Liquor Mart in Brandon. If you miss out on your chance to purchase one of the online draw items, there are plenty of other fine and rare spirits available in the general Premium Spirit Release. This event takes place on Saturday, November 5th at select Liquor Marts throughout the province.

Mister Sam Tribute Whiskey, named in honour of Samuel Bronfman, is a highly-limited blend of Sazerac’s finest Canadian and American whisk(e)ys. The nose is cigar box, pipe tobacco, Madeira cake, and toffee in that order of ascent, but then there’s a rush of oaky vanilla, limestone, flint and sweetened breakfast cereal. Hearty but elegant, woody but grainy, and floral yet spicy, which is quite an achievement. The entry is high octane and scintillating followed by lush tastes of raisins, prunes, mince pie, candied walnut, chocolate covered cherry, heather honey, toasted marshmallow, praline, nougat and pecan pie. The aftertaste underscores the attributes at aroma, entry and midpalate, bringing them into a grand finale that is amazing.
