Because every state requires architects to be licensed; a two-year degree or certificate will propel you closer to a career in the field. The Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree prepares you to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete your bachelor’s degree in architectural studies or a related major. Harper offers an Architectural CAD Certificate ideal for beginning students just entering the architecture field or for professionals looking to develop skills in the area of CAD drafting. This certificate prepares you for entry-level employment to become a CAD drafter, CAD operator or architectural drafter. Credits earned in this program can be applied to the A.A.S. Interior Design degree.



The Associate in Art (A.A.) or Associate in Fine Arts (A.F.A.) degree at Harper College prepares you to transfer to a fouryear college or university for further study to complete a bachelors’ degree in art or a related major.
