Parishioners 50 years and older. Join us on Thursday, February 25, as the Golden Youth Club of St. Ambrose will be taking a bus trip to visit Columbus, Texas. We will leave St. Ambrose at 8:30AM. We will start with a tour of the Opera House, and then visit the historic sites in Columbus. We will tour the historical Senftenberg-Brandon House and Dilue Rose Harris House. Then we will visit Hopkins Santa Claus Museum – one of the two Santa Claus Museum in the world. We will have a dutch-treat lunch at Schobel’s. After lunch we will visit the third largest oak tree in Texas and the Confederate War Museum. We will conclude with some time to look around their town square. We should be back in Houston about 4:30PM. The tour is limited to persons 50 years or older and bus seating. The total cost for admissions will be $11 per person, not including lunch.
