GUÍA PARA INTERPRETAR LOS PRODUCTOS GRÁFICO DE ISOPLETAS:

En el eje horizontal se leen las horas y en el eje vertical se leen los meses. Se ubica la mayor concentración de colores en el gráfico y se lee a la izquierda, a qué meses corresponde y abajo se leen las horas. Los colores azules son los de mayores lluvias

CUADRO DE DISTRIBUCIÓN HORARIA DE LLUVIAS. En el eje horizontal aparecen las horas y en el eje vertical las cantidades promedio de lluvia, hora a hora. Las barras representan el promedio para cada mes.

Conclusiones •En la región Caribe, el régimen horario de las lluvias tiende a ser nocturno. Sin embargo, sobre la franja central del litoral, correspondiente a las ciudades de Cartagena, Barranquilla y Santa Marta, las lluvias se presentan hacia el final de la tarde. •En la Región Andina, la situación es variada, Hacia los valles del Magdalena y Cauca, las lluvias son predominantemente nocturnas. Igualmente en ciudades localizadas sobre las laderas medias de las cordilleras, como las del Eje Cafetero, Ibagué y Bucaramanga. En alturas mayores, las lluvias se concentran principalmente, en horas de la tarde. •La única estación analizada de la región Pacífica (Quibdó), registra lluvias nocturnas. En el oriente del país, Leticia y Gaviotas presentan lluvias diurnas, mientras que Florencia, ubicada sobre el piedemonte amazónico, no presenta un régimen definido.
